I always think that there has to be some sort of logic no matter how ridiculous the scenario is.

I was discussing that last night, & we came to the conclusion that when a film/tv or whatever exists with a set of rules & continues to exist within those rules it’s fine. As soon as they step outside these rules or make new rules to suit the scriptwriters as they did in Lost & Heroes the show soon goes downhill.

There is a load af nonsense from the judges, stating that artists should be versatile, but this is dumb. It’s dumb because artists each have genre at which they excel. Anyone in their right mind would let an artist sing stuff which they like.

They should do a tv show call it bandswap – get Metal singers to sing boyband ballads, & boybands to sing metal etc…

I was chatting to the chaps in my lbs the other day & they are at the moment getting people coming in with bikes they’ve bought boxed from ASDA or the internet costing no more than £60-70 & asking them to put them together & set them up.

They charge £50 for this service, these same people however wouldn’t spend abit more to get a suitable bike from the bike shop & have it set it for no extra charge & to get their free six week service… people are odd.

I have a ps3 these days & have the problem that I’m sure I’m being beaten by an 8 year old at fifa & if whenever I’ve taken the lead the opposition mysteriously vanishes..

but in my opinion Mario Kart peaked with either the N64 or DS version & the re-run of Goldeneye is hardly forward looking – it’s bad enough hollywood remaking films without games developers starting as well.

Also what’s happened to 2-4 player multiplayer games like Goldeneye, Mario Kart, Perfect Dark etc on the N64 when you & your mates could sit round in one room having a few beers & shoot the crap outta each other?
