Just back from that area and the bottom lift at Samoens was 22 degrees at 9am!! Skied in Goretex shell and helly hansen base layer all week bar last weds when it snowed like hell!! Not much snow below 1600m!!
I am looking for a tool wrap to take with me in the car for full tool kit (s) as a mobile mechanic. It’s ok using my tool box but would save time looking through the box and be more orgaised.
Anyone recommend any wraps?
They have been stripped just so will service and put back together tomorrow. They were fine until I upped the pressure a few days ago 🤔
New seals, fresh oil, and fresh grease should sort it.
Yeah they are in the mix
Not sure if they are any good though
Need to check axle to crown length too plus (bike tart alert) white fork on a white frame 🤮
I mean if the frame is as bad (i’m not saying it is) as others alude to re geo then the kit on it alone must be worth the cash if you have another frame to build up from it
TBH i like the look of the geo!
all of a sudden £50 is not actually much to charge in the grand scheme of things. Since starting a business it has been a real eye opener when working with small/local companies. Margins are tiny. Little bike shops/repair services won’t compete o price but we can compete on quality of work and attention to detail.
At Bike Revive in Sheffield We’d charge £20 for the BB to be fitted. Currently working on a square taper that is requiring a lot of work but quoted £20 for removal and fitting of new one so thats what the customer is being charged.
Conversely I work from a workshop at home so overheads are minimal.
