    cantis work fine…you dont need that great brakes for cross,if you have problems then change your set up,there nice and light and you can change wheels quickly .regarding uptake of disk in world level cross… a few germans and yanks will but not many

    shimano is like the aston to the tractor…on is smooth and works,the other is agricultural,clunky and doesnt work as well.Having xx and xtr on both my mtbs i feel i can comment

    i build wheels bespoke and we have standard builds i have alot of industry contacts so try to do light weight or boutique builds

    to clarify once i got set up with bikes im self sufficient ie. i pay for everything now and my buisness is successful so it seems thanks to patrons of stw so im not bothered yeah dave its true they come in ligher albeit 20g or so because the forks are nice and light….and nick you have a point but im going back to shimano on everything so….no problems there

    i know its a pI$$take but if i had unlimited budget id get a modded carbon di2 groupset with ax bars stem and brakes,LW ventoux obeymeyers yaban sl,carbon ceramic cassette,Clavicula’s with paracis bolts id have a saddle made for me in carbon.Then for frame id have edge forks on a cannondale evo six 650g frame painted gold.Then id have lime green dugasts made with my name printed on the side

    nope theyre black box…the lock out is so superior its worth it and fork action is smooth as i have sid xx sid wc with carbon steerer sid xx wc with carbon all great forks
