    Hello chaps and lady chaps.

Distance is variable,it changes dependant on how fast you ride; The faster you ride the further you go, in the same time. Everyone arrives together at the camp. Routes cut deep into rural Galloway on day one and by coastal areas on the second day.

Think Bike packing on cross/mtb/gravel bikes made a bit easier.

Charlie was a good friend and I grew up with the Craigs being round the corner so to speak.

He was a credit to his family and all my thoughts are with Nick and Sarah, and Thomas.

I can’t get my head around it and will miss him lots.

I would like to organise a CX race in his memory, but need to speak to Nick first.

We have 3 years on the frames whitecitadel but we then offer a favourable crash replacement policy on everything after that where we do a third off the retail price of the item.

    Hope that helps!

    Hey all,

Pricing has gone up for so many reasons but the main ones being: Dollar strength against the pound plus lots more work and complex tubing in the new frame construction.

The new one is now on the Kinesis UK website http://www.kinesisbikes.co.uk/Catalogue/Models/Adventure/Tripster-ATR-V2

    and there’s even a video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y-l1cETOmlQ&t=5s
but ask any questions you’d like and I’ll reply when I can.

Look forward to seeing more exciting builds soon.. I’ve ordered one myself!

Only joking DrP (you’ll have online exclusive!) it took us way longer than we ever thought to change what we wanted, the price has increased because of the things we added to make it the sort of bike we all wanted to be proud of riding. I’ve followed this threat for ages and it’s great to see some love continuing. Sadly we were slow to launch as our factory couldn’t get the rear dropout to our standard. Now it’s certainly a frame I’m proud of having a hand in designing, it seems ages since we sent frame drawings so nice to finally have a complete bike to show to the world next week!

I’m there, tall chap on a Blue Pro6 in Kinesis/Gore Kit.

Its my first time but the start of my 14th Cross season so I’ve ridden a bike a bit but looking forward to a genuine challenge.

I’ve ridden my peaks bike enough to settle it in and will just be riding 60psi and holding on to my hat (so to speak). I’m going bottle on the seat tube and pad taped to my shoulder with Kinesio tape, been doing a few walks recently and other than that i’m just looking forward to riding my bike in a cool place.

Oh and I’m working at the cycle show Thursday to Saturday so come say hello on stand G15 if you’re racing on a Kinesis !

fANTASTIC event. a Proper one. Thanks for all the smiles out on course, great event. Didn’t need to take anywhere near as much food as I did, Shout out to all the nice people on Kinesis bikes! I found 37mm Clement’s were great set up tubeless (only one puncture) but my single 40t ring was too small for some of the long descents!

    Bring on the next one.

Im a huge fan of them, and I have some data I can sustain a higher 5min power with them than without- which is useful for Cross.. which I do, now this is just anecdotal I admit and the shifting on double set up is less crisp than Praxis/shimano. I do run 1×11 QCXC1 on my CX bikes and I find smooth application of power on muddy climbs is good, I’ll be riding them next MTB season in a 1×11 application too.

Great post OP- Thought I’d say my bit too! I started Cross at the age of ten when my school friend ( a girl called Annie Last) suggested I come to hers and go race.Well this is my 11th consecutive cross season, Cross has been the constant in my life when other riding has come and gone. I started on a £45 kids MTB from a car boot and Now I’ve got 5 Race bikes.. Things really have come on, My local league see’s nearly 500 Competitors over all the categories and I still race with my friends that grew up with me,some who are now world champs some whom are Architects. What I’m trying to say is that cross is always worth a go, there will be fast guys and slow guys but we welcome all! Get involved, if I could tell my 14 year old self that I’d have raced Sven Nys,raced in China ,The States and Belgium then I wouldn’t have believed it.I have on of the best father sun relationships I know of with my Dad because of it so if you have kids get them involved!

Long may cross continue! get involved and share the love!

having spent 3 summers working in Provence I managed to get to 128kph down the north side of mtn Ventoux, the section is from ski station and its 12% for a KM and straight… never going that fast again ,properly Sh*t me up!

Thats more for the “if your spending 5 grand why not spend 8.. clan” if i was after an all day fast riding solid XC bike I’d probably want one of those… presuming they would donate me one!
