Astons in the Royal Exchange is great – carry a great range. If you've not smoked much before I'd recommend a Montecristo 4 as it's not too harsh and not too expensive (also what Che Guevara smoked).

If you're a 40 a day man, then something bigger like a Partagas D4 would be nice or maybe you could go all the way with a Partagas Lusitania.

http://www.cgars.com is a great e-cmmerce site that has beginner guides etc.

Love mine – it's fast without being racy.

120mm fork would be too much – I asked Silverfish and they said it would void the warranty.

Stick some 100mm forks on it and a pair of 2.2 tyres and you'll be reet.

I loved the ending to The Departed – looked like it was setting up for the very predictable ending (all round ace film, actually).

I'm not a fan of musicals, so Chicago and Moulin Rouge should have had sad (gory) endings IMHO. Perhaps Renee Zelwegger could have fried in the chair?

Finish my probationary period on Weds so I'll be going for 7%

Where are the useful STW people when you need them?

… oh, I imagine they're being successful and utilising their time to its maximum effect and hance not on STW.

    Catch 22 heh?

Beautiful. I had one once but only managed to ride it once before it was stolen. So light I thought they must have accindentally left it out of the box when it was delivered.

MY girlfriend and I love it, although saving for a house mean we haven't been able to go for a couple of years.

Staying in a Disney hotel lets you breakfast in 'Fantasyland' in the park before it open to Joe Public, letting you tick off most of the smaller rides early. Truth be told, Peter Pan and Dumbo get massive queues through the day and aren't really worth it.

Not to be too nerdy, but the art and little things you don't notice are amazing. If you're interested in design do a little desk research before you go.

For example, although a dull ride, It's a Small World was largely designed by Mary Blair who's a very highly regarded designer/illustrator.

If you walk past Phantom Manor to Boot Hill, there's a graveyard with witty gravestones which is worth 5 mins.

The original audio welcoming you to the Phantom Manor was recorded by Vincent Price, but they don't use it anymore as patrons are mainly Non-English, so they use a French voice-over instead.

    Got a Hand Me Down jacket for £60. It's a bit big (XL when I'm M) but for £60 I don't care!

    3 x T Shirts or Polos for £25.

The best of the boys stuff seems to have one but there's loads of girls' stuff left.

Gortex waterporoofs are designed to be worn under your uniform (hence the lack of pockets), mine are whichever size was handy when i was issued them and they fit me fine! Having said all that i've never actually seen anyone wear them under their uniform.

I was about to call you a liar until you said you were issued them.

    Really? Under your uniform?

I have a 2007 Dawg Primo – lovely bike. A bit of a beast and a bit of weight to carry uphill, but it comes to life when you point it downhill.

You need to do something with the launch that makes it a story and not just a "new x shop is opening" press release.

Is it the first x shop ever, or the first in your area? Can you do an event at the opening? Break a record or give out freebies?

First car I bought for myself. Haven't regretted it for a second and it's only "old people" over about 45, who know nothing about cars, who ever say anything bad. Even then I can count the occurences on half of one hand.

Let him get a VRS and be properly impressed.

I had mine tucked away somewhere – it used to sound like a Harrier Jump Jet.

I then moved it out and it was quieter and quicker.

However, the damage had been done and I got the 'Yellow light of death' last month – catastrophic failure caused by persistent overheating.

New slim one is lovely and quiet though.

I once read that a favourite among American fighter pilots was to have drawn on the back of their right glove an arrow pointing forward saying "Houses get bigger" and and arrow pointing the other way saying "Houses get smaller".

    I like it
