I’ve said before, the evidence I posted suggests people think its just a bit of flu, work colleagues think that, the queues at B&Q think that, the workers on the M27 think that, the queues in the Garden Center this morning think that too.

People still huddling around each other, oldies and kids in same groups.

And for the vast majority of the UK population it will have NO effect other than we carry it. At best for the vast majority of people they will get flu like symptoms.. Thats been very well publicised.

So, clearly not trolling.

Not bothered what you lot think, some of you ought to heed the social distancing mantra and apply it to social media distancing.

Roadworks still ongoing on the M27, where groups of workers huddled together certainly are not keeping safe distance from anyone. And continuing to work as normal.

Bunches of kids coming out of school in groups playing and tagging each other. Again, not keeping safe distance from each other.

What ever message you lot have been reading or trying to force on others simply isn’t working because the facts as we see them do not warrant such measures we’ve seen this Govt push on it’s populace.

This experiment in social engineering isn’t working.

What is working is people are realising WFH is a viable option, the internet still functions and the capacity is there. That some people act responsible enough to know when we see the panic and outrage that some of you possess that we simply laugh at you.

All carparks are full, suggests everyones working normally.

So tell me, if oldies and kids are in the vulnerable groups, what are they doing out and why?

Suggests most people thinking this panic is just that, panic.

And if you are looking for someone to blame because us lot are carrying on with life, then I suggest look at yourselves first before poking sticks at people who disagree with your POV.

There guidance is well known and broadcast by the bodies that are monitoring the situation, and they only “advise” and that’s just what it is.

If you are unclear about what “advice’ has been given or need someone to translate it into normal speak, then please re-read it and get someone to comprehend it for you.

As is, people as continuing normally. Obviously there are people who are self isolating because of conditions and that right, so they should. But people without symptoms are just getting on with life. And rightly too.

I liked it when it first came out a few years back, then stopped watching it because it just seems a way for people to get their tat fixed for free and claim “ohhh just how I remember it from childhood”

If it was that important, why not go to someone and pay them to fix it 🤷‍♂️

I got a very funny look from the shop assistant in Morrisons last night when I stepped away from her when she was verifying my age at the auto-checkout.

It’s tricky – if you are further away, you’ll look smaller, so she’ll assume you are a child and not authorise your booze.

I too am getting sick and tired of the Doom Slayers, wish they’d all wallow in another pit somewhere.

Thankfully after getting rid of a lot of mass speculation and idiot speak, we now seem to all understand the fundamentals of how to manage yourself and those around you.

All it needed was a clear head and clear communication.

Y’a need coping strategies then.

Plenty online if you need em.

I’ve been WFH for 15yrs, popping into the office once a week… but that feels like a massive waste of time.

I suspect many will look at their families and ask themselves “so, what is it you actually do”?

As a social experiment the results will be interesting reading.

In other news, my hairdresser is still open so I’m off for a hair cut later. My sailing club building is shut and all club and open meetings cancelled until the end of March (I suspect that will be extended to end of April) but the changing are open including showers… so I’m glad about getting our normally manic club back to ourselves.

My reaction is to go running, and put some bloody effort into it.

And yet my wife’s Yoga Class is still on and continuing to do so.

My Fat Dads exercise class, which is usually on right now, has been cancelled along with all the other classes she runs in the local hall, including Pilates and Yoga.

Yeah I’m reading all the counter arguments.. and to some extent understand those individuals positions..

But this a class held in the local school hall, a school that’s open, a school that’s not to far from a few of you lot in R’ogate.

I enjoyed it, but then i’m easily pleased.

I like the characters, Delores in a new world looks menacing, and thats a great storyline for S3. I thought she was a bit dippy in S2 until she seemed to mutate into a bit of bot with an evil streak.

It was a tad confusing at the start, and it took me a few minutes to acclimatise to the future world they now occupy. Bernard seems to have a baddy button too, so thats going to be interesting to see how he approaches the spectre of sharing space with Humans..

He had two visits from Plod because someone who’d seen the vid of him smashing along at 45mph reported him.

The law does need changing IMO. Make it legal and insure as an EV moped and I’m happy.
