Have you tried a top swing front mech? the clamp is a lot lower, so will allow you raise the mech up so it clears the chainstay and doesnt foul the bottle boss.

Usually the manuf suggest a service / oil change after xx hours riding. A year is FAR too vague a term. Also if you ride in cruddy conditions this generally shortens the servuce interval further.

Had this with mine, for some reason i thought you had to really pull on it once you’d unscrewed the can. WRONG!!
Took me ages to find the O rings and get all the fluff off them!
Only took about 10 mins to clean and put back together.
Only problem is now my air valve is leaking. Prob just needs a clean.

I had a set of RS Psylos which went like that. They were 5 years old, but it disnt “seem” to affect the performance a great deal.
If they forks are covered by warranty then see what PACE have to say, although 11 months between servicing might be a bit long. I try to do my forks at least every 6 months, more frequently if i’ve been out in the filth a lot.

Bland i think you’re being a bit harsh.
I dont tend to even notice the ads TBH. Yes there are a few of them, but so what? Do you complain about adverts on TV or in the papers? No. Someone has to pay the bills and ads do the job just fine.
With regards to the classified forum, its how it was before the great hack of ’08 and it worked fine then.
Give it a month or so and you’ll be used to it by then.

What about tapping the hole out to a larger bolt size? Is there enough meat to do that?

Im assuming you have a shimno hub / freehub?
To get the seal out you should remove the axle first and then get a wide bladed screwdriver and prise the dust cap out from underneath using the freehub body as a point to lever from. If you have an old freehub you should be able to just rob the dust seal from it an press it in.
If not im sure someone on here will have an old one you can have.

They are the other side of Gosport from where i work. Good bunch and helpful too.
A LOT easier to find their current unit since they moved from their previous rabbit warren too.

Could be slight leak of air into the fuel system. IIRC We had an old fiesta 1.8 diesel van which was a complete sod to start first thing. Check that the fuel filter connections are nice and tight. Given this was replaced then i doubt it is that.
Or it could still be the glow plug(s).

    Fistly congrats to you!
Looking at brants posting, it looks like a std bit of clear hose. Dig out your bleedingh kit and slice a bit off the hose. Job done!
NB Prob best to give a quick rinse under the tap first!

Im running 180mm caliper with a 185mm disc with no issues. Just make sure the outer edge of the disc isn’t hitting the caliper!

You’ll need a few mm clearance for the headset top cap, otherwise it’ll foul the steerer tube and you wont be able to tighten up the headset enough.

I doubt its the battery, otherwise it would struggle to turn the engine over.
My guess is glow plugs too. When it does start is there lots of black smoke?

They are pretty easy to service. Less of an excuse not to do it regularly too!

I dont want to replace a shock when theres nothing wrong with it though. Plus i’d be wary of a second hand one. I KNOW my shock has been well looked after and maintained.

BTW it is pretty easy job to do, oil for the dampper is added at the bottom of the right leg. Not sure how easy it is to replace the oil seals etc.

Still dont understand why you want to swap the BBs over. Just buy two? One for each frame, thus saving a lot of faffing and maintaining the chainline etc.
Bear in mind the BB is that width for a reason, not just because they couldnt be bothered to chop a bit off the BB shell!

Prob worth starting from scratch with the caliper alignment if the disc isnt in the centre of the caliper.

Cant you turn the flipflop link over to give you a higher BB?
IIRC you can change the BB height from 13.12 to 13.8″ or thereabout. Does channge the head angle though
