Presuming you’re using rattle cans. First I’d make sure you give them a damn good shake before you use them. Agree with building it up slowly with the coats. Don’t try and get a mirror finish. You can always give it a few coats let it dry , gently sand with p2000 wet and dry. This will take out a bit of the orange peel and help with the final finish coat

Etch primer. Hi build primer. Flat it down with p800. Degrease and tack rag then either white base coat then clear coat or a direct gloss finish. Build the paint slowly and don’t be tempted to walk too much on in one hit

Open the boot and look at the boot floor. Should be on a white paper sticker and the code usually begins with L.
If the sticker isn’t there next port of call is the service book as they usually have the white paper sticker in the front.
Only other option is ring a vw/audi dealer with a parts department and they can give you a colour code from the registration or chassis number

The more people I’ve spoke to makes me realise how lucky ice been. My temperature was in the 39 region for a while and blood tests were throwing up some crazy numbers

The ring of death? It should show an error screen with a code. Depending on the code it may be fixable. I did mine at home with the x clamp repair. Fairly easy to do just Google and follow the instructions

The only one ives used that works is oven pride. Put the wire racks in a bag with the cleaner and soak the oven (preferably over night) seems to melt all the gunk off

I’m planning on taking a few tyres but for some reason I’m old school and I’m an inner tube kinda guy! I’ll listen to the advice and get some spare mech hangers too just incase.
Knowing the idiots I ride with starting with the green runs won’t be an option and it’ll be a baptism of fire.

intense 909s or minion dhr as tyres go at the moment. Its currently on a 2×9 but i’ll swap to a 1×9 before I go as its my (very heavy) xc bike too
