Seriously though you will always have your eye on other bikes because you just like bikes so much. Its not a critisim (sp) its just the way some people are, always thinking “is that bike any better/faster/more fun than the one i already have” some people just want to try something a bit different and sometimes it works and others it doesn’t .

Slim – Get the superfly, order some 100mm Manipoo Minutes which also have the 20mm maxle if you want from CRC for £300 (£280 for the non maxle ones). Try them both out and see which you prefer and sell the ones you don’t want and you should get most of your money back as long as you don’t **** them.

Ok so the Manipoos might not be as good as the fox’s but its a solution. At least that way you can make a decision on the frame etc and come out riding again :wink:

Ordered some 2008 ones with the maxle from CRC for £256 on Friday and have just noticed that the 100mm ones have gone up by over £60 so not looking like such good value for money now.

Loads of good reviews on mtbr convinced me to part with my hard earned,, they should be with me in the next 24 hours :D

It fades in the sun so as we have less sun each year (well it seems that way) the instances of white dog poo will decrease. Also as its less socially acceptable now to leave your dog’s shite everywere there is less of it to notice.

If your looking for a cheap first forray then CRC are/were selling The 29er from Viper at £112 for a 19″ frame. Or the normal solution, On-One :roll: .

It all depends what your frame budget is.

N.B. I have not tried either of the above options so they might be pants :?

I have found that it fits differently on different make/model of bars. However i was told by a few LBS’s that the silver lever should push forward or backwards not down,,, something to do with health and safety :roll:
