We did Worthing to Falmer (A27 crossing) yesterday in the pi**ing rain and howling wind.

It’s not too bad at the moment, didn’t really see any of it that was dodgy as its not been wet for a long enough period of time for the chalk to become green but then if we get too much rain this week that could all change.

In short its perfectly ridable just don’t grab too much brake on the decents

    Oh and good luck :D

Yep love my LT with the RP23. Had the shock tuned by Mojo and now don’t use the propedal at all.

It does everything i want it to and can take anything i can throw at it, after which it looks at me as if to say ‘is that it’

Twice the bike i will ever need & i wouldn’t sell it plus the warranty back up from Jungle i found to be top notch.

However, Ferrari’s president Luca di Montezemolo, head of FOTA, has warned it would create a two-tier championship that could be “fundamentally unfair and perhaps even biased”.

Welcome to the world of Force India, Jordan, Minardi etc etc etc Mr di Montezemolo.

Now pick up your toys, put them back in your pram and concentrate on getting your team to develop a car which can consistantly finish races in the top 8,,, after all Brawn GP can do it in 3 weeks I’m sure Ferrari can manage it after god knows how many years experence.

No sympathy for the prancing showponyhorse here.

F1 is great to watch again after a decade of Ferrari processions.

Look on the bright side people, at least the media has something else to focus on for the foreseable future other than the state of the world economy and as a result some sort of confidence may start to return along with the on set of spring and general sense of well being that would normally bring.

World Wide Pandemic ends world wide recession !!!!!

    It’s sunny.
    Its Friday.
I’ve just had 2 fishfinger & cream cheese sandwiches for lunch.
    It’s nearly payday.
I’ve just cleared one of my credit cards.
I’ve given up worrying about the recession and my job, there’s very little i can do about it anyway.
I’m riding the Surrey Hills on Sunday with mates.
I’ve got 2 Arundel Gold chillin in the fridge.
My dog’s are in the office with me today so I’ve got someone/thing to keep me company.
Did i mention its sunny out.

    Life could be worse

Oh and to raise the limit above the £1k mark on the C2W your company has to have a consumer credit licence as it becomes regulated lending or something similar.

    bigsi

    Try asking your accountant/accounts dept.

I did the C2W scheme and made the payments back as a lump sum from dividend’s at the end of the year so all it cost me was the tax & NI at the dividend rate which was less than my PAYE rate. This will only work if you get dividends mind :?

I love Brighton but wouldn’t want to live there as its just too expensive, fueled by lots of London workers living there.

I moved down here from Surrey 9 yrs ago and could have lived in Brighton but opted for Worthing instead. Its a bit cheaper to live in which means you can do more with your cash. The local riding is just as good if not better as Hummerlicious says if you know where to look and its only 15 mins on the train from the centre of Brighton for shopping, resturants etc etc.

FWIW my advice would be to live near to but not in Brighton that way you can get the benefits of what is a great city without so many of the drawbacks.

    what’s fraudulent about that?

Nowt if he buys a whole bike. If he buys a frame only then he will have to lie on the voucher – and that would be fraudulent.

The form doesn’t ask anywhere if its a whole bike or not just asks you to state the make and model so you just put the make and model of the frame you are buying when completing the paperwork.

    bigsi
    Free Member

Yep it depends on the bike shop to a large extent.

It’s not fraudlent to just get the frame (well thats what the scheme provider advised me when i set it up for our company) as there is nothing in the rules that say the bike has to be an ‘off the peg’ bike so if you were getting a custom build done then you would be buying just the frame all be it with other bits as well. I bought frame, forks, headset, bb & crank plus seat post when i did mine as i had all the other bits off of my old bike.

There is very little policing of the scheme from what i can tell.

We bought an MFI kitchen 6yrs ago and it still looks good. The trick seems to be to get someone other than the shops (B&Q etc) fitting team to fit it. Get a chippy in to do it and it should last for years as they normally get business from word or mouth etc so have to do a good job.

Thats what we were told when we got ours done and it proved to be right.

IIRC the carcases of 95% of kitchens are the same in terms of quality unless you go for handmade so it shouldn’t really matter if you get them from B&Q or IKEA, its things like the doors, worktops, draws that make the difference.
