It would appear that, as he obviously not going to give people their money/goods that a mass visit to his house in Plymouth would be in order.

Now I’m not sure about this but i seem to remember a race taking place near there towards the end of next month  . How good would it be if it could be arranged that anyone who has beef with him turns up on his door step with the rest of the 24/12 riders in tow, I think there will be at least 1300 riders in attendence that weekend 8O 8O . Shall we say 7.30pm on the Friday evening before the race

I’m running Spesh The Captains which for a £20 tyre seem to be able to cope with most ‘summer’ conditions, no nasty moments as of yet. Its a 2.2 tyre but is has quite a large volume.

I’ve bought some 1.8 Mud x’s from Chevin, £35ish for the pair 8O , as a back up for this weekends mudbath

Cynic-al. There are better deals about than 4.99% but these may carry arrangement fees. It will depend on how these fees impact on the overall cost effectiveness of having the lower rate over the period of time that the rate is fixed for.

E-Mail me at sihills@moneydecisions.co dot uk if you want me to have a look around for you.

I’ll need some fairly basic info from you to carry out a search (i can also point you in the right direction if there are better direct products available as these appear on our sourcing software). I won’t charge for having a look round for you and if i can get you a scheme you are happy with then I can set it up for you as well, normally without a cost to the client, oh and to keep the mods happy for this shameless plug i will also contribute towards the STW beer & kebab fund if i earn any money out of it.

Can’t really say fairer than that

The retailer won’t normally supply a new frame till given the ok by the distributer/manufacturer but once that happens it should be fairly rapid if they have them in stock. 2 1/2 weeks is getting a bit long but then it could be that the person who can ok this is on holiday as happened with me last year.

Once the ok was given it all went very smoothly, cheers Jungle

Yep but they will charge a few hundred £ for looking at it and there is no saying they will be successful.

Nice bike Ton and supposed to be good. Guy i know has one and likes it.

Only comment i would make would be around the rear end stiffness as the linkage looks a bit flexi for a guy of your size :?

I’d be interested to see what would happen if the proposed budget cap on F1 teams were applied to prem teams…..

The forecourts of sports car dealerships accross the country would be filled with alot of ‘one careful owner, low milage’ ferarri’s etc.

Oh and you wouldn’t have to wait 2 months for a tradesman the come round and give you a quote to fix the dripping tap/straighten the shelf or do any other work that your DIY skills wouldn’t stretch to (No offense to any trades people on here  )

This is why i stopped watching football. £80m is a vile and disgusting amount of money to pay for a player given that this plus his wages each week come from the revenue grenrated by sponsorship and the fans. 8O

Good to see that the worldwide recession hasn’t affected footballs sense of normality

*Hijack* I notice that 2tyred is 6’1″ riding a large, what length post are you running 2tyred? How much of the post is left in the frame?
I’m 6’5″ and quite like the look of the Bfe but am thinking it might be a bit too small for me as i have a 34″ inside leg?

    Cheers

Could it not be that Brawn & Red Bull are better at interpreting the wind tunnel data than other teams are ? As track testing has been cut for all teams they use the wind tunnels more which can’t show them 100% how a car really performs on a track.

So the answer to your question really is the back room staff at Brawn and Red Bull are better with better leadership than the other teams are. I think I’m right in saying that over the last year or so both Ferrari & McLaren have had some fairly significant changes in there technical teams with people leaving and new prople coming on board.

What about a Haro Mary. Whole bike for circa £440 and you could then sell any of the bits you don’t need. Ok so its got an EBB rather than sliding drop outs but it would be a cheap build. :D

    Or an on-one

Now wonder that guy in the op is wearing a full facer, you wouldn’t want to be spotted riding around on that by anyone you knew.

    Oh ok then
