I put 37mm Conti Travel Contacts on my Scandal 29er last year for a 100k charity ride.
Really fast tyre with the added bonus of knobbly bits on the side if you decide to go offroad (weather permitting of course :roll: )

All fixed now, really easy job.
Quick spin round the block confirms creaking has gone.

I’ve been tightening and greasing pedals, axles, cranks and anything else I could think of to hunt down the annoying creaking. :?
Off to the garage now to finally shut it up :twisted:

I bought myself a pair of the camo ones a couple of weeks ago for £18 including free delivery from Office.
Best slippers I’ve ever had and at that price I should have bought more, still some available at that price though just not camo.

If it helps I’m running 700 x 42 Continental Travel Contacts on Mavic TN719 rims. They come up fairly thin but handle really well on Tarmac and dirt track. Fast rolling and not a puncture to date :D

Very pleased with my On One Scandal 29er. In XL size fits me fine and I’m 6’8″. Built up its 27lb with full Xtr and Thomson finishing kit. Running Reba RLT’s at 120mm but fancy a pair of the new on one carbon forks to take it to 25ish. Hope that helps.

Firstly apologies to misterdun for hijacking your thread, but it may be of interest to you as well.
I’ve got a set of tapered reba’s, the problem I’m having is all the local shops telling me to buy the on one mixer headset, I was kind of hoping to buy a hope internal tapered headset but very unsure if it will fit?

My 21″ Scandal 29er arrived yesterday and they do look the nuts in the super raw finish. Just wish I could find a compatible headset.
They’ve also lost the water bottle mounts on the seat tube that used to interfere with the mech clamp, not a problem for you if you’re ss though.
You will however need to buy the ss swap out as they don’t supply one with the frame.

I very nearly bought the same matchmakers myself for my M770/M4 mono levers 2 days ago.
So glad they fit so I can get myself a pair, and good to know about the change of bolt in advance.
