Ryobi ok better than most bnq stuff but not ad good as bosch or makita/dewalt etc will be compatible with the range of one+ stuff I presume. Mate of mine had full ryobi ni cad set he onlh just got rid after 8 years of service and upgraded to a 10pce makita lxt kit

I checked the parts prices and was surprised some cheaper than the old c2 checked clutch, pads, discs , exhaust etc and was happy. Plus the insurance is half the price of her c2 which was also a surprise!!!

If the op just wants diy stuff then thats perfectly fine imo.

A 275 quid kit for combi and impacter is a bit ott but then again I have 155mm travel foe my pub steed : )

I thought the estate was nice but its huuuhhge for what we need and the “boss” would struggle to drive and park tbh but could be a future work bus for me.

For his diy needs would be fine. A lxt combi or impacter or kit would be overkill and over budget for home use surley?

The dpf already bin done along with the brakes that could cause incresed stopping distance. Looked and joined mondy forum and they were very very helpful. Ive looked at the warranty and it covers the ecu to the bottom end, pistons turbo etc bin very very thorough spent days researching both skoda and ford but the 30day warranty on the skoda was a put off as he had 3 cars in a tiny industrial estate lockup : /

The car was good price warranty a bonus and fsh was bought from the dealer new where we bought it was just traded in for a kugar 4×4 thing.

In the end I think 4.7k there or there abouts after haggle then the interest of about 1.5k with no final payment,650 cash deposit and got the aa and free warranty chucked in at last min : ) late 2007 ghia x 2.0cdti with 140ps and every extra on possible from new.

Its the fact it was a saloon and not a hatch as most people dont want a “trunk” had a good friend of mine look over it and hes a service tech at merc. Thumbs up from him and full sh so think we snagged a gem : )

Li ion makita ive got the 6pce kit for work (trades) every man and his dog on site has em for a reason!! Check screwfix or bnq you can get a combi drill and one batt and a 100pce bit kit for under 100quid 1 batt is suffice for home use as they take 22mins to charge.

Im 6″4 and 20 stone natural used to train and it got too heavy with all the roidheads and chemicals floating about but ive found some adidas stuff in xl fits and xxl too tight? Firetrap xxxl and tapout or affliction fits ok in a xl (american fighgwear) its a ballache as im naturally stocky with very broad sholders so necks are allways tight or streched across the chest. Most of my shopping is done online now.

Ct01 sealant its the dogs!!! Goes off under water!!! Or tec seal duct sealant sets like concrete and we use on ss and galv to seal joints in ducting and water washes for spray booths. Can be removed easily for “warranty” issues.

Well we now own a mondeo : ) it did have full sh from ford dealer with genuine ford parts just wasnt advertised. just had service and 12 month tax and 12 month mot new conti tyres all round all the extras bluetooth climate etc and we got 2 years warranty on all electrical and mechanical parts thrown in along with 2 years full aa breakdown. And got 750 off the price after haggling. The skoda had a 30day warranty from a small independant dealer and the finance was only avl over 3 years out of our monthly budget

Its the wifes saving grace. An immaculate credit score so the car place love her. Her bank offered a 10k loan and the apr waaaayyy to high against a 8.5k car with the interest.

I do love the older mondy st i found a absolute minter witb 47k silver 2.2td fsh from a dealer but cried when I rang round for insurance.

The car place were going is beating our banks apr rate!!!! Its actually cheaper than getting a loan.

Its the travelling to get the car. If it comes with a warranty or service pack and goes kaput its a nice journey on a low loader needs to be as close to home as poss.

The super slim suffers ridiculous overheating issues as theyve shrunk the case then the cooling was an afterthought. Thats why people want the slims also the slims can be flashed or run with modded progs on them.

Look out for opened consoles both ps3 and xbox make sure theyve not bin banned from online ive sin modded xboxes commanding 250 xonsole only just because its bin “j tagged” modded in other words.

Ah forgot to say the skoda is 5995. Found a skoda supurb last night fully specced to the eye balls but 3.6k on a 2003 with 77k miles makes me wonder.

Got told the chain driven mondys were stopped all together in 2006 the shape before the one were looking at. And the dpf was an issue on 08> cars? Looks like the octavia it is then.

    bigphilblackpool

The mondy better specced and looks waaaayyy nicer with the 18″ st wheels and metallic gray paint but the 4 door and nsh puting me off a bit I have heard good things about the mondys but the octavia has rave reviews too.

Its dark gray with the 16″ rs6 type alloys half decent spec and all black interior but the fsh swinging it tbh.

High miles dont put me off as long as it has sh but the father in law has got involved and hes got into her head now. Found a lovely bmw x3 on a 55 plate full sh and immaculate 1 owner 70k and just had a service at bmw 7k we could have had it for, too many miles apparently.

I am gob smacked to be honest. 30 quid each on a pub quiz is immense. Me and the lads who I work away with won 19 quid. We bought two cocktail pitchers for 12 quid and shoved the rest in a bandit and won 25 off that so the shots came out chin chin!!

    bigphilblackpool

^ winner. I cringe at spending 7 quid at xmas on a cheese board!!! My limit is pre grated pilgrims choice (only when on offer)

The 150 would be spent on strong alcohol and takeaway pizzas (cheese fix) four cheese if you really dig the smelly stuff.

Would be quiet yes. But how about heating the rooms? Would cost more as heat would disappear into nextdoors void or into their unhabited man caves/ store rooms.

No I was heading to a roundabout and he said 2nd exit I indicated where the first exit was so other road useres may have thought I was comming off at first exit thus possibly causing a accident : / but no minors amazed me tbh and my instructor said he allways chucks minors out as hes very picky would have bin a perfect run otherwise. Re booked for the 29th of nov so fingers crossed third time lucky : )

Failed no minors but 1 serious as I indicated before the 2nd exit on a roundabout. Pissed yes but took positive as I had no minors so I know what not to do next time thats the new frame fund down the swanny lol.

Screen protector fitted and the metal bits in a reccesed speaker housing away from the glass? A “tough” phone would surley stamd upto a speaker clean? I stated debris on the email and all metal has bin removed by wax and grease proof paper anyway. Its the mis advertising im going for as a friends phone (same one) he ran under a tap to see if waterproof and it died!!! They then exchanged for a new one.

Yes i do thats why i know where purchased and date etc. My phone lives in my pocket and when im drilling above me or when it sticks to my gloves it gets in my pocket. Only tiny tiny amounts mind. Ive emailed them and after quoting trading standards “normal use” legislation they backturned and said send in foc and wel have a look and repair/replace but ive a funny feeling theyle be arsy.

The crack around it is exactly the same size as my finger and you can tell its not a impact crack. Its gone underneath and spiderwebbed. This phone also has “crash” indicators inside to tell if its bin dropped, there is also not a single scratch anywhere!!! Very poor or faulty glass imo.

Makita all the way!!! I lent one off a joiner at work for over the weekend. Li ion batteries (others still use nicad) paslode’s patent has now run out and all others have copied and bettered design by the once king, (used to service and repair paslode at a hire co) and they were prone to jamming especially the im350. Makita has good warranty and aftersales. Quick charges on batts and can use any manufacturer of nails/gas. Only paslode dont like other brand gas. Heard good things about hitachi but persinally never used one or sin one on site all makita or hilti for the steel fixers/dry liners

Whoa!!! stanleys are good but can slip no mattet how careful you are. The lads who fit wall cladding at our place (altro white rock) is similar thickness they use cordless shears theyre fast neat and very accurate. Electric scisors if you will can be hired cheaply or borrowed if you know any tradesmen. ive tried stanleys and yes they do work but id fancy my fingers being intact at the end of the job.
