Transit connect lwb twin slide door… Comfy cheap to run and bombproof and cheap to fix if ever does go wrong had 2 and loved them really thrashed em and still worked fine trade van during day and bike carryer at weekends. And plenty of options ie high top lwb low top etc or just go for a 2000s transit 85ps swb theres a reason most trades use transits…. Only posers go for vw or people who want a trendy van.

Im on a 65 plate transit now lwb semi high top and love it

No need for a box… Search tv addons in google. Download which format you want ie. Win. Apple. Android. Install and run on wireless via phone or tab linked to tv or via hdmi out on a lappy…. All set up ready to use self updating and has genesis and pheonix etc all there installed ready to use.

Eaxctly ^ pva is a sealer….. Tile adhisive works on the premise it can absorb into a surface to bond… Ie the tiles will only be as strong as the bond of pva to the skim….. And as for painting mis coat about a inch past tiles. As again the adhisive will stick to the paint and not the skim…

Seen too many “bathroom fitters” do this and after steam gets involved tiles start to pop. I know as thats all i seem to be replacing at the moment on my jobs.. Blown wall tiles and blown floor tiles where the screw centres seem to be non existent and some rough arses aint even laid ply over boards….

Irwin/marples job done. Had some stanley ones and seemed to dull quite easily. The irwin ones were on offer at a local merch for £40 plus vat for 5 in a nice case. So sharp i dont even need my hammer i can just ease them in and i use a trend corner chisle punch (best purchase ive made)

Now you say about a bug… One of my riding buddies had the same thing other day but thought nothing of it.. Literally jumped off his bike and stared pukeing in a bush and “we need to go NOW” lol that lasted a day then his daughter had it day after…. Now me…

So really if im better now and sickness and pains stopped i should be ok. The wife had rice too and she said she felt sick but she was ok. Ive heard about the rice thing before that being the biggest cause of FP that people overlook.

Eat some more and see what happens hahah im not up for that on this occasion wasnt the best experiance.

Normally if your sick you feel better after it… I felt worse and the term both ends came into effect.. I used to think that was just a myth.. My boss knows what im like and not one to be taking days off etc. Im the only one who asks for weekend work (enhanced rate and extra holidays help).

I work alone and not in a office based place of work. So my “sickness” that ive still turned up to work with has only ever effected my wellbeing and not others around me as there isnt anyone around me to contract it.

Id had toast in the morning with a brew
And a pasty at lunch with another brew and a lemon tart.
Then the takeway. Thai green curry with efr and chips and steamed dumplings.

Ive got to admit having the house to myself and the dogs just sipping lucozade and catching up on gotham was nice… I do think that the unbroken sick records a thing of the past that employers look at now as so many do have days off.

152mm drill a pilot hole with a metre drill bit normally a 10mm for the core bit pilot to sit inside while you start the core off. When core bit started (approx 5-6mm in the brick take out the pilot from the centre of the core bit and carry on.

Slow and steady dont force weight onto the core bit as its ment to do its own work. Stop every so often to clear out debris fror a smoother and quicker cut.

Use either a “dry” bit or a “wet” bit. If your even contemplating stiching that size you need to re evaluate what your doing.. Stiching is rough as toast and using the hammer function on a sds you will loosen all the bricks around where your drilling and make a right mess. Core bit with a extension bar and a standalone core drill with a clutch… Dont even think of using a sds on rotary….. Snapped wrist ahoy.

Hire a core bit and drill from a local hire shop will cut through like butter they will normally havev hilti drill a dd100 and a norton core bit both make life easier.

Once met a joiner whilst working away.. Asked what hotel he was at and said hotel berlingo. .asked where it was and how much per night and he took us to his van…… Funny guy. He despised it but it got hit by a bin truck in oban and lads regularly “borrowed” it for a quick butty run and floored every gear.. Hes still got it and still going strong. Granted sounds like a sherman tank screaming through a tunnel driving over bags of things that groan but it cost him 150 quid 🙂

Better to graft now while the mind and body can cope bartyp while i still can and all the prices are through the roof 🙂 no shortage of work dont plan on working past 50 so why not now and not the “if id have just pulled that odd weekend”

The stuff i do is heavy duty commercial so most tools even the better brands struggle i suppose a years of my use is equal to average 8am-330pm site workers 5 years. As i said ask a joiner pal or even hire one…. Cost effective and you wont end up with it sat in the man cave for 6month gathering dust.

The dealer thing with me is fine… I can take to ANY ford approved dealer or garage as long as they use ford approved parts NOT ford genuine parts (highlighted this in sale contract when they said i had to pay for oem parts on a service to still keep warranty) bought ours through evans halshaw.

2.5 was an option for us but stupidly the sales guy told the mrs to “tickle” the accelerator. She shit her self when the boost kicked in and didnt like it 🙁

S6 nice but break that screen and its a huge bill to fix

M9 same as m8 …… Not much change

And the new nexus range look lovely as said above but no sd slot put me off.

Squirrel king we paid just under 6.85k for ours but it had just landed under a px and the sales lad needed his sales i presume as it was up for £7400 i think just kept knocking down and got the warranty chucked in too we had a nice deposit and another car to px in so they were putty hahah. I want to keep ours but the wife has other ideas…..

Think mine are either 18″ or 19″ had the sport extra pack fitted when new with lower/harder sus and bigger st style alloys. Looks lovely in the thunder metallic paint and the harsh ride dosent bother me tbh after driving around in shonky vans for years.

Yes i nearly cried when i took in for 4x new tyres at a local tyre fitter hes normally very cheap but set me back 650 for all 4 fitted and balanced for bridgestones i think. Landsail ones were cheaper but read horror stories of them in the wet online so went mid range.

I do love ours to be honest pulls like a train and very comfy/spacious im 6″4 and still dont even have the seat all the way back and all the gizmos are brill in built voice commands work when they feel like it though and once a month gets a high rev blast down the m55 to keep her clean.

Easily swallows up people and bikes for days out too in comfort and surprisingly good on fuel but not around town… Thats my only gripe. Looked for a estate as they are huuuuge in the back but struggled to find a ti x in price range in estate variant.

If its for one job… Lend one.. The cost of buying a specialist plung and rail outweighs the use…. Ask a joiner friend or hire one…. Personally ive had the festool range and yes its good kit but either A. Got pinched all the time (fes offer a replacement when stolen) or B ends up dying. The amount i use my tools (18 hrs a day 7 days a week) i buy makita now get a good deal via the company i work with and never had a issue. Lighter and imo more user friendly and innivative than most other brands. Hilti is the pros choice but thats overkill for what youd need.

I had a rage saw and loved it still going strong now after being used to cut 41×41 hd unistrut day in day out and even m10 and m12 rod. But as i said. Hire or lend one… Case of beer as payment for lending or about 20 quid for the weekend to hire one.

There are some clean ones out there. We got a 2009 titinium x sport 65k full dealer history 3 years or 80k warranty (whichever first) covers all electrical and mechanical other than tyres pads and filters. For 6.8k customer had traded in to get a kugar and people were put off by the larger alloys which gave it a terrible ride. Bin the best car weve had and only slight issues but were fixed free under dealer warranty.

wow……. surprised about the bills as its quite economical compared to traditional plumbed underfloor ie boiler working harder and gas more expensive than leccy in my experience. and to the chap with the broken underfloor…. you not happy its just stopped working and not leaked down below and the pain and cost of re dec and repair… more than likely a duff connection not hard to remove tiles and investigate.

Surely just dig up soil…. And put a couple of 45° bends in and lead away from where you want the trees and then back to the drains… Its not that hard and a few fittings and few lengths of pipe.

Honestly tv addons has taken over my virgin netflix and now tv…. People are charging 60 quid for a fire tv stick with it on and 80 for a now tv box and 150 for the year to run it via a “plex” service with servers but with that you have yo request what content you want… Madness ive got it on a rasberry pi and use my phone as a kodi remote. Pure simplicity. And im working on a linux version to run direct on my smart tv as the linux version uses hardly any ram etc.

Installed in a few customers houses quite straight foward and takes up less depth than traditional underfloor.. Plus the amount of lads that install it incorrect (plumbed) underfloor is laughable. Electric a even and constant heat very good imo.

Well glad you enjoyed it pal gets a bad rwp for the surface and media coverage. Some nice spots in pool. Im 5 mins from lytham 2 mins from st annes sand dunes and 45 mins away from the lakes. Blackpool has a town centre with a booming nightlife thats a people focus on.

    Lytham proms
    Stanley park bands
The lights just at the end of season
Pleasure beach when its locals time
Not to mention all the award winning eateries in and around blackpool and the quiet pubs.

After working all over the uk and seeing what ive seen north and south. Im proud to call my home blackpool.. Besides where can you get a 3 bed detached in a nice area for less than 175k….

Just had a re look and cleaned caliper and mine is a number 8?

    bigphilblackpool

Would you trade for the #3 caliper in mint cond that would fit the 888?????

    bigphilblackpool

They have said id need the #6 boxxer specific caliper. That they no longer stock after i rang up about the adapter being wrong 🙁 its a 203mm rotor and it is just too far away and only 2-3mm of disc sits in the caliper i have at the moment.

After looking many people also stated get a adapter but none work unless you get a #6 caliper… Anyone else have one to trade or know a workaround barr custom fabrication?

    bigphilblackpool

I thought youd be chuffed i went for boxxers sharkattack. Had a offer too good to turn down.

They supplied a part…. The wrong one… Thus this post ive emailed and called and they are just as stumped and came up with the idea of the #6 caliper. The part D adapter does not fit 🙁

Ive been asking suspension tuners about my ample frame and they have all said the same thing. Heavier oil and a touch more than stated in manuals and x firm springs and il be fine. They said its quite a commonly asked question along with 700lbs rear springs… Now i do need one or a 650 but finding one is a chore…

    bigphilblackpool
    Free Member

Now now… I knew there would be fans from eacg camp fighting the corner… After speaking to a suspension repair/service guy he dosent have any parts for the older zocchis has plenty for 888 and some for boxxers but when i told him my weight he went quiet and said avoid boxxers as they race forks and not intended for my uses with my weight hammering on them. He disent sell forks either so not a sales punt.

He did mention monster T were and still are some of the best out there and the best built with more craftsmanship involved but parts can be more than the fork itself as people like to keep them going again hes told me to also avoid fox 40 ad they have a habit of cracking around the pinchbolts under heavy use.

I appriciate the feedback and the offer of the monster t but im going to get the 888 as the chap has extra firm springs that he will fit at no extra cost for me

    bigphilblackpool

All im after is pure strength and reliablity weight not an issue. I was swayed by the 888 as the chap who has them has looked after them and theyve just had a full service and original price was 220 but ive knocked him down.

Just wanted opinions really but to throw a spanner in the works ive been offered a set of domains 3 weeks old just taken kff a new complete bike for 175
