Blackpool, i used to charge 120pd 8am-5pm with an hour for lunch, BUT with the influx of eastern europeans they seem happy to graft for 40quid a day so i now charge 90pd its a joke.

1k is a lot to play with if you do that sort of thing for a living, remember its 60-70% of your total bill is labour cost average joe can go bnq n get a “trade” card when bnq charge 60odd quid for some golden gravel deliverd in a tonne bag, whilst i go to the salvage yard and get two bags deliverd for that, bark chippings cost a bomb, i go to my local farm, FREE!!!! Iv even bagged some and sold it to customers who wanted it, builders etc price so highly because what you dont see is the travel to get to price the job, fuel to the merchants, the hours of paperwork at home estimating and ringing said merchants and then collecting the gear, i allways have a 10% buffer zone in my jobs for muck ups, ie i didnt order enough sealant on a job, most would bullshit and say errrr i need more money for more materials from the client, which is unprofessional, if buffer zone isnt used it gets refunded back to customer, which is probably why im never out of work and employ two lads full time.

It boils down to the fact the government cant tax or control the distrobution of certain social drugs, yet in america they can grow cannabis for medical reasons and provide you with a card to claim it, its a joke, the same again, money and power.

My wife paid 300quid for hers to be done professionally (i was drunk when she asked me) anyway they looked absolutley brilliant, for 5 days, then you have to go back once a month apparently at 75quid a pop, the diy kits are just that but think carefully what ur doing as if you leave the stuff on too long ul know about it, thats before buying the moulds to house the “paste” and the moulds come from ur dentist seperate then buy the paste off ebay, i had this discussion with the mrs too many times, her friends a dental nurse but works in portsmouth bit far from the old pool to get discounted gnasher whitening.

It depends on local planning/building regs but for me any structure can be built away from property for storage, i demolished my old timber shed and in its place the “bunker” went up but as its bin painted and has a felt roof neighbours think its timber, but my neighbours are fantastic as i do all their building work for next to nowt, its true some builders have to make a living but some take the piss i learned lots of jobs at reasonable prices and repeat custom is paramount, not feel your arse huge jobs make 5k profit then scarper, i know a plasterer that charges per day and hes very very good on the other hand theres a wanna be plasterer fresh from these 4day courses charging twice what my time served qualified approved contractor is charging, the best way is to get as many quotes as possible, use your friends builders who have done work for them and you can see what theyve paid for dont just ring up ads in papers use reccomended lads and that way u cnt go wrong, or do what you feel comfy with then when ur stuck ring said tradesman as the bulk of the work is allways in the prep : )

Looks quite cool imo and councils allways give mental quotes as to spend their funds, if they dnt spend up they dnt get the same amount the following year.

If your willing to travel theres a place at the end of my rd in blackpool, only use 3m wrap (the best) they do all door shuts etc and do all the blackpool trams/buses and police/ambulance cars plus all the large fleet companies, bmw used him to do a promo for the new msport 3series for a client day at their flagship dealer as they couldent sprat it intime and do the motorsport decals, search autolines graphics online, plus hes a good pal of mine possible discount avil

Shop around or ask builder mates to order it for u, as average joe bloggs ringing a concrete place instantly pays top whack, its hard!!! U have half an hour from when the mixer arrives to when it leaves, in that time u must make sure its in situ ie in all nooks and crannies, then try to level as much as poss, there is a minimum order for the mixers, and its done per cubic metre, then needs to be tamped and allowed to “go off” before polising with a power float or easy float, the last pit i did in large terms was at a large bodyshop darn sarf, i had to hire a 3tonne dumper just to unload the mix into quick enough as the mixer couldent get into the bodyshop, however you can get it “piped” in but be prepared for a wallett busting increase, save money and hire/borrow a good mixer and get some help, a good strong 3-1 mix with small chippings and a day of sweat.

Could do what i did, the concrete plinth/post route cost me all in 500ish, but i did it myself and my labourer had a couple o “sick” days : ) but i have my own sthil saw, posthole bore etc but if you have good mates that could lend u theirs or u ask a favour n supply sausage butties n brews n a crate at the end of the job im sure theyd help, as i have done so in the past for my pals, mates rates n all that, now i have cheaper insurance and a free gym membership for my help on their houses for free. Flavour for a flavour!!!!

Or scour the loot for free bricks or hardcore, hire a whacker and just have a crush and run as a base, better than just grass, dig out first obv, and jesus how much u lot pay for redimix!!!! Iv just finished filling a pit that took 12cube n.it cost me 400!!!!! Wowzas!!!! I do have a good rappor with the local cement/grabber/stone merch though, tbh the best way is a custom jobbie, the shite prebuilt ones aint worth a ****.

Get one made to your liking by a joiner/carpenter, solid concrete base first then find a chippy, with that sort of cash!!!! I made my own mancave using concrete fence posts and the concrete plinths up to the top, sealed up then insulated inside with a upvc clad on the inside, basic timber felted pitch roof and a nice solid timber door, bit overkill but my livelyhood (tools) live in there.

Waitrose!!!!!????? I dnt even think blackpool has one or a acado, its rife with tescos round here, the corner shops are now all owned by one geezer through a franchise dubbed “smileys” which i dnt think they know how to do!!! But theyre trying hard to become tesco, mini cafes in the shops, deli counters hot food, dvds etc, i agree with some posters as my pal works at the tesco superstore and earns more than some of my tradesmen friends, ie allways know u have work, paid hols sick benefits. Discounted phone bills loans etc and first dibbs on the reduced goodies!!!!! Taste the differance scoff for less than 50p!!!!!

Dont buy a plasma like i did, i got a bargin lg 50″ for 130smackers yes a bargin i hear u cry only 1 year old, but on plasmas they need to be run in to gradually warm the pixels and ease into fast moving images, they also suffer from screen burn, the previous owner nor 90% of plasma owners know this so i have skysports burned into my screen with red snow in the top corner, ive used the in built screen wash systems to small improvements, and bought a dvd which uses white noise to move the stuck pixels and rid the red snow, worked a bit, now just have red snow in top corner, but for the price its viable, so buy either a lcd or led if you can afford it, panasonic or sony are top notch samsung n lg tend to be cheaper as the internals are “buget”, also plasmas tend to have a protective plastic screen which can cause glare, if transporting keep upright as the screens are so close to the internals the weight of the screen can bow against the internals and pop or cause damage, believe me ive done it twice !!!!!! Que effing n jeffing and throwing my tvs on the pavement!!!!

I think tnf may pip as its a shell and you can put the included fleece inside to make a warm coat and just looked on a climbing and hiking site and apparently the old berg has gone waaaaayy downhill in the past few years as they moved manufactering to china to offer “customer savings” where as tnf are still made in usa aparrently, although the sports pursuit site is very tempting, but there has to be a reason why there are jackets half price, tnf seem to sell out left right and centre and never have old stock about.

At the end of the day samsung and htc are ****, i have owned both the desire hd and s3 and 3gs, i still to this day wish id never sold my 3gs, the s3 battery life was horrendous and took an age to even do the simplest of tasks same with the htc, u cant even type a number in and just save it you either have to open the contacts and start a new one or dial the number and save after youve “parnked” somebody. And custimer service for apple is simply amazing, i walked in with my 3gs said its broke and by the time i sat down i had a shiny new one in my hand, htc and samsung dont wanna know if your phones broke, apple all the way, funnily enough im off out now to pick up my 64gb for free : )

I am fortunate as the wife has a flexible job and i also work away for up to 4 weeks at a time, we have a plummer terrier shes fab and the inlaws have a collie, old english (dulux dog) and a bichon noire, (annoying yappie bastard) our dog is fab left alone but shes only ever bin left for 3 hours alone in that time all my trainers were in a pile in living room, granted not chewed but just one of every trainer/shoe u have to laugh.

You can say that about a lot of brands but fortunatley in blackpool they all wear stone island and lacostegear but some are now wearing barbour which is turning my stomach as iv had my liddesdale now for 4 years and is my staple pub coat but isnt waterproof its ok in a small downpour but then saoks me through, and jambalaya i work 80plus hours per week away from home to earn a decent coin so the wife dunt pick when i want a decent coat as it would stop her hubby from getting a “cold” : ) n love the willy wonka pik although have you ever bin out at night in blackpool?? Its an adventure in itself!!!

Awsome!!! Past few places ive worked all had connects for the wet trades ie tilers decorators and plastererd all were fantastic, i own one and now my bro owns one bought for 1700 on a 54 plate from police auction, remapped ecu which makes more bhp and lbs and his is better on fuel than mine!!! Iv a 90ps swb roomy, as car like to drive as ur going to get, cheap readily avl parts all the plusses of its bigger bro the tranny but cheaper to run!!!

Get the professionals in, they will seal up holes and remove them once killed off, rats are very clever and can chew through anything they wish, causing ££££££s of damage a friend of mine had to have his house rewired due to the ****!!!!! On other hand jacks do have a very good rep for sniffing them out, a local firm round our way uses plummer terriers bigger and stronger than a jack but look the same, i know how good they are as i bought one!!!! N im sick of her bringing in various wildlife into the house especially when im eating me tea!!!! Lol

Wow some actual real answers!!!! Tbh speed 12 has hit on the head its just to stop me getting wet whilst out and about not a weekend scrambling in the lakes, i do like tnf style and the one i had my eye on is from the summit series, the berghaus ones on the sports pursuit give me more bang for buck but the black one i want looks a bit chavvy due to the reflective strips all over it and also the long delivery times.

Sthil all the way, would you buy a mountain bike made by cadbury?? I worked for the local council using fs 415s bull bar versions, 415s are also local authority only spec same as the 410 but more cc and larger fuel tanks, ive used ryobi, hitachi and mountfields all are good but not the real deal its well worth buying the 2nd hand sthil council jobbies as we had to service them every week (im also a qualified sthil service and repair engineer) and my machine was nearly 9 years young and run like a dream started first Nd every time, auto feed head with sthil red cable (thick!!!!) It chewd through anything!!!!!! And was controlable to use on fine rye grass to get a better finish imo than a mulch deck mower, sthil also keep all spares and if your tight you can readily gain copy parts ie filters pots/pistons for penuts, they are made to be abused and still run, easy to repair and use, a tip remove the plastic guard on the head as this gains a neater cut, closer and a nicer finish on your edges, aslo work anti clockwise around anything as this aids in clean up due to the grass flying onto what you have just cut.

Im afraid not as im 6,5 and 20stone and i dnt think the mens section in millets had some womens coats mixed in lol, its the yanks they like to be awkward!!!! Just had a look on sports pursuit and its made my choice enen harder now : / my barbour liddesdale is amazing but not totally waterproof unfortunatley and i have a habbit of wearing joggers when i go gym or take me woofer out so a barbour will look a bit daft so i save that to fit in on the wifes horse riding comps lol

    bigphilblackpool

Its the fact id like a propper waterproof coat and not a shitty showerproof one, the swing was my older bros nf coat, a resolve which he wore in the shower pissed up to prove how good it was and after a few mins of drunken sillyness he came out bone dry in the top half, scientific proof right there!!!! Lol im not trekking in the lakes or riding my bike in downpours just nice to look at and when it rains it will keep me dry when out with the wife and down the pub, so tnf may be overrated?? Surley some of their high end tech must have bin passed down to the affordable consumer coats???
