Not really my friend, dont go anywhere other than the high street, i bought a fendi item online from a reputable retailer (so i thought) and compared to her friends real item and nearly cried, now i buy from the highstreet with things like that better to be safe than sorry and save the “cheap bastard” rows for another day or you could end up with an apollo stickerd up as a orange lol

Not actual red bull, the idea behind it, pumped up taurine drinks to stimulate and prolong them in war a few lads have told me the same thing that have toured with yank troops, might be a myth but my ulcers and rb being banned in some places still enough for me ;/

I used to be a service engineer at a tool hire company, dewalt = black & decker internals, pre 04 very well built after went the quantity over quality route, makita ok for general trade use, milwaukee overpriced aeg and the aftersales is terrible, imo after stripping and repairing every day hitachi or panasonic, festool just jumped up joiners tool porn £550 for a cordless combi errrr no thanks, i own a hitachi boom stick and hitachi sds, grinder and rod cutter, never missed a beat and bin batterd for over 5 years, look on ebay for usa imports, half the price and the build quality is much much better than eu counterparts, make sure theyre listed 50hz-60hz as then you can use a adapter plug or cut off yank 2 pin and replace with a male 110v yellow plug for site use, all my hitachi kit is from usa warranty still stands (never had to use though) and the kit over here is 800 plus i paid 350 inc import and duties.

Iv bin told the “original” red bull was used in trials for american infantry as a instant perk up, after trials found to be rotting the insides of troops and thus was pulled, waterd down versions now on sale to the public, i used to be a monster feind (khaos) 3-5 per week as i worked on the doors and they were a staple of my diet, que stomach pains and a trip to the docs and hey presto ulcers due to too many monsters, i now steer well clear not good in my opinion, plus red bull banned in quite a few places.

Its mechanical engineering/commercial plumbing, i didnt ask for the lads number as they were still deciding who to put me with, the emails are internal, they have 3 landlines and a fax number, they dont have contact numbers on vans just the company logo, just think its strange thats all, i should have asked for the mobile num of the lad who id be with tbh but i was just excited i think and overlooked some questions, im just going to get up as normal and ring office.

Thats just it they actually are, they dont advertise as they dont have too, theyve bin going 27years and have over 60 staff, its the most professional interview ive had, best contract and iv even done two courses with them and i havent started work yet, im just thinking if he has missed a number or something simple,

    bigphilblackpool

No mobile number, no email av as they have all personal ones they dont give out that are internal to the company, looks like an early nite then with gear at the ready.

Really?? I didnt know there was an acceptable time to still ring?? I would have thought hed have rung in the day tbh, but like above could just be a honest mistake, knew it wouldent be plain sailing straight away lol, so so far just get up early and ring in if a no show, id go office but have all my tools and away bag with me so would be a treck lol

I use a corded hitachi and a evoulution, more often the evo is comming out now as imo gives a better cut and if there is a stray nail it dosent shag the blade, in my makita cordless (18v liion) she lasts about an hour straight of solid cuts through 8mm ply and some scant or 4×2 then battery change but takes 20mins for battery and i have 3 of them, cordless is used if im “mobile” on site or on scissor lifts etc but im very happy with my rage saw, even use to cut scrap lengths of conduit to fit in van.

Yes but what time footflaps?? If were away for the week its normally a 330am pick up but if its a office stop for materials its 8am ????

    bigphilblackpool

Theyre a professional outfit, not a 1man band or 3 lads with a unit, im a bit surprised tbh although the office staff said the contract manager “forgets” from time to time, although the lad could have bin on the lash last night and could ring/text later, although id of thought hed of text today or this morn and cant find an out of hours number for them??

If it is a real post its not the fact uve worn a mask, the fibres of asbestos are hook shaped and cling to clothing, if the clothing is still worn and you say brush past ur missues the spores become airborn again and inhaled, you wouldent realise til 5-10 years down the line, however if you have a good immune system you die faster as your body fights the asbestos and causes scarring on your lungs, if you have a shite immune system you last longer as your body ignores the asbestos. Dosent matter about prolonged periods, it takes one time thats all.

Not me personally but a pal of mine had his house refurbed, he had mint condition stained glass windows all round, i told him to get them encapsulated inbetween new double glazed units, as people go nuts for them and they go for a lot of money 2nd hand his wife however hated them and didnt believe me, so his wife in all her wisdom rang a joiner, windows removed and new fitted, on finishing the job the joiner met a guy outside my pals house and handed over all of the glass wrapped in sheets, and a “chunky” envelope was exchanged, he later found out by browsing ebay that his windows went for a cash sale from ebay for 2k, and the pictures on ebay were while the old windows were still insitu before the joiner started, he was not impressed. And its still brought up at gatherings to this day.

As long as its marked as asbestos it dosent matter what color it is, iv done my awareness and safe removal courses, ensure some good tarp is used, wet with warm water and fairy liquid, fine mist as to stop any airborne, wear a white tyvex disposable suit and a decent face mask, gloves etc, then double wrap and ring local council, most councils do a free collect and dispose service, oh and double bag your dirty clothes also,

Im 20stone n the wife is 8 stone, we both like firm matresses but didnt want the “roll in” problem as i kept waking her up getting in/out of bed, we have a extra firm silentnight pocket sprung q
1200 springs, and a latex memory foam top which is half the overall thickness, very firm, best matress iv ever owned!! The latex aspect keeps u cool unlike some foams that get stuffy and hot, we got ours in kingsize in a argos sale, reduced from 550 to 300 with free delivery,

Ive had a heated discussion with a “tech geek” about this and i opted for the 3ds, the xl picture does suffer as its just a zoomed in picture scalled up to fit the screen, battery life half of the normal one, and you can get new 3ds for 109 where as the cheapest 3dsxl ive personally seen is 179, oh and you have to buy a charger as the xl dosent come with one in the box, another 20 quid.

Work out ho much time you “actually” get with your family now, and think you could have a whole month with them uninterrupted, i used to do 1-1 shifts and i loved it, the mrs loved it as she left her job and worked from home or just did 1 day in the office at a new job. You can do so much as a family in a month, and the month on flys by, face time helped a lot to be fair, but for the quality of life you can offer your family for the job id jump at it, as in time youl realise why you did, kids wanna go uni, no problem funds Re there, you need a family holiday, done, new car done, id relish the fact and im sure your oh would understand. You may not get the opportunity again.

Thanks man, appriciate it, i will be looking foward to my job now : ) unfortunatley theyre large sites run by the guy he arselicks, so any hassle he goes running, everyone knows this so all have to bite their lips, md loves him as he saves him a shed load of cash, which he loves. He wouldent last 5 mins on a real site with no safetynet, and he knows it. I might bump into him… One day eh.

My best pals mrs head of hr for a global company, shes clever and hires/sacks people for a job, she is my union!!!! She helped me get my redundancy from a company in admin, when everyone else said, oh you must claim of government etc, she also advised me to decline a job offer in a firm buyout situation, the lads who jumped lost all their “continued service” bonuses, redundancy, and holidays etc, i didnt jump and got all my pay, 2 weeks later they got laid off with nowt, so shes my helper : )
