I ordered a G13 as I never felt I needed the bigger travel. Still intrigued to try the -2 degree angleset you suggested Chainline.

So far I am loving the bike though and glad I went for it.

I use it at least once a day when I cannot be bothered to prepare food. Does the trick for me.

I have a Rowan Frameworks. His work seems to be in demand and the finished product is good.

@Chainline I never stated an offset I wanted. Mojo are putting together a 36 with a 20mm axle. Would you recommend ordering a certain take?

@Chainline – I live in Kent so not sure the – 2 degree is needed. Would it add performance values even on flatter trails?

Just ordered myself a G13. And now begins a 6 week wait!

I also do not pay to travel to any of our offices. Distances vary from 30-400 mile round trips.

Sounds like a good way to pee people off to me.

Depends what you do for work. Something like that would be very out of place in the environment that I work.

Not knocking Casio but everyone has a different requirement of a watch. In my eyes a good watch is to a man what jewellery is to a woman.

i think a nice watch is a great item to own. Personally I am a Bremont fan. Just picke up myself another Martin Baker111 on a stainless bracelet as my everyday watch.

I love the fact Bremont are English made and a reason I buy the brand.

The nicest trousers I have ever bought. On 3 sets currently and I live in then pretty much all the time.

Their new belts do look lovely too but I am having a hard time spending £150 on one.

I am surprised at what some people can get their food budget too.

There are 2 adults in our house and we spend £700-£800 a month on food. Normally 2 takeaways in there or a meal out as well.

Wife works from home so all her food is included. I work away 2 days and expense food and that’s not covered in the above. We do enjoy our food though.

Not too fussed about selling it. Might just pop it in the spare room until I have more time next year.

I personally run a lease vehicle through work. My mileage per year is 25k so it’s actually cheaper and less stress to do that. I could buy with my car allowance but the service and support make a lease a no brainier.

We have a run around too that the wife drives and that was bought from a dealership as an ex demonstrator with 600miles on it. That was bought cash. This car does 400 miles a month!

A lot depends on what it is used for.

@chainline is that the TB with mojo geometry?

    Looks perfect!

Be interests to see what Nicolai bring out. A 5inch travel 29er with this geometry appeals for messing about on.

I did see the Mojo 29er but was put off by the extra cost for the custom geometry.

I am selling an XL Krampus Ops – either full build or just frame.

I think Bedgeburg has flow. I think you need to be in decent shape to ride it fast. Some good leg burning sections in there.

Using a Surly nice rack on mine. Had to get a seat clamp adaptor but works perfectly.

5000miles plus on a guide RCS. Single pad change and not bled once.

Works better than the XTR (m9000) and XT (m8000) on my other bikes.

Not the cheapest way to do it but I had Nicolai make me an Argon custom. 470mm reach with a shorter back end. Mine is an XC race bike but they will tailor their bikes however you want for a cost.

I’ve just looked at the CRC advert – there were no tabs in the packet. I am guessing that is what I need. I’ll call the distributor tomorrow.

    Thanks for that!

There were no tabs with the Rotor ring. It was purely the ring and nothing else. Saddleback sent out bolts that don’t fit the ring.

The M7 bolts don’t even go through the drilled holes on the chaining. The standard 3 recessed holes are there. The LBS offered to drill it out. I am not keen on this idea having spent £90 on a chainring.

The AB ones use the XTR bolt covers. The Rotor ones don’t though as they are the wrong size.

    I am a bit baffled!

I am using 5S for both work and personal. I was given a 6 but hated it as found it to big. Wife tried it aswell and was not a fan.

Ridden alpine XC routes on hard tail XC bikes and even a cx bike one year. The cx bike was fine mostly but challenging going down in the morzine region. The XC bike however was fine.

The cx bike however was great for exploring and let me nip between different valleys quickly.

Hyperthetically speaking if you wanted to keep everything else constant like seat post angle and BB drop you would need to increase the fork axle to crown measurement.

A 1cm increase would do this? I cannot change my fork in 5mm increments.

@Chainline – I asked them directly this am and it seems it might be a future thing and to go back to them in April.

Either that or it’s a custom thing.

@chainline do you know anything about the Argon Semi Fat proto with the same geometry?

    That has me intrigued.

Simple and easy. Done it twice and it’s simpler going direct than through a shop.

I cannot speak highly enough of Allsports Dynamics braces. They provide amazing support and add confidence. The ability to change range of motion is a huge plus when coming back from an injury.

I shattered my right distal radius 9 weeks ago yesterday. It was in 5 extra pieces and those parts were forced up the arm with the force of the compression. I’ve since had a 7inch plate fitted and 10screws.

My rehabilitation has been rapid mainly due to an amazing surgeon and probably one of the best hand therapists in the uk. I was back on the bike on the road after 7 week. Had I used the NHS I’d still be in a cast. The ligament and soft tissue damage is pretty major but the brace has got me back on the bike when everyone said it would be 2016 to begin with.

I would not hesitate to recommend their products. For a specialist product I also think they are good value.
