Nagging thoughts made me do this the other morning. I normally phone pm. Turns out the poor sod had fallen over and spent two hours on the floor, Diabetes is a bitch.

Edit. Meant to also say that as he didn’t answer for half an hour, I left work to check

Just mix up some solvite and use that. If you have a dodgy surface that you’re attempting to stick to use border adhesive.
In future, PPPPPPP and all that crap, best primers i’ve ever used are Beeline primer sealer ( good value as you thin it down) and Zinsser Gardz (expensive but good)
The new paste the wall papers are great to use in my experience. Its more likely a surface prep issue.

There is not much available as the forestry commission like to remove anything promoting the unofficial.

    Found this though ;-)

Bought a G15, couldn’t see the point of another 200 quid on small improvements.
    Very nice.

I would consider it for somewhere like the lakes. Im a guide, I get a few bookings but could never earn a proper wage from it. School groups are another story tho. Hi Trusty :-)

    Here’s what I always do.
I prepare by using those wet n dry sanding pads dipped in a mild sugarsoap solution, I find the flat Bosch sanding pads the best, wipe of residue and allow to dry.
Cupboard paints are shite as stated above, my favourite primer is Blackfriars problem solving primer. Also stated above is Farrow and Ball eggshell which beats any other water based coating hands down, if I get all shabby chic and distress the surface then i finish with a dead flat water based varnish like J H Ratcliff or polyvine.

You may come across a miracle paint called Annie Sloans chalk paint while searching the web……..don’t.

I would be more interested in a tyre choice for bluebells. Those buggers are lethal off camber in the spring

An easy fix assuming its not too bad is to use a primer sealer to stick it back down with. My weapon of choice is Zinnser Gardz, make sure you poke the brush under the offending tape as well as painting over it. You might have to push it down several times until it stays ( when the sealer reaches its tacky point) but it does seem to hold well. A cheaper alternative would be pva.
You will of course need to touch up with paint after its dry.

    Wet it.
If all water runs straight to floor then try peeling surface off.
If surface won’t peel off then use “paper tiger” or similar device to score surface.
    Then. …wet it.
If it doesn’t come off then wet it again, and again, and again until it does.

Whilst you’re doing this I would recommend warming the steamer up for when you lose patience.
The additives are a waste of time. ….30 years experience (someone kill me……. please)

Sorry for any typos, dun on fone.

The loop i mentioned ( the qualifier section) is great, plenty of chance to see other riders incoming and close to base, I take groups there quite often. Im guiding next week and will try and gpx it and another route that I use.

And I do think 6 years old is pushing things for the final descent :-)

Stay behind him and sod the strava users :-)
Many families use it and are much more likely to on a sunday, so anyone wanting to race down without the chance of meeting anyone has picked the wrong day IMO

That said, I have just properly read the title and noticed he is only 6 ( dont worry this actually makes it easier), my advice is this.

Shortly after the first section you will ride up a long wide stony track that takes you away from the car park area, to your right the trees have been cut down, this is called black ride. After that is a delightful section for youngsters involving stuff a bit more adventurous than the skills loop called the qualifier. This then comes onto a fire road where you go uphill. Shortly after that you take a left on a flat section that comes back onto Black ride, from there its very easy to turn left and re-do the qualifier..
A map can be found here >> http://www.1sw.org.uk/experience/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/Forest_of_dean_map.pdf

Don’t be tempted to go uphill to do Witches finger as its hard work and has been the scene of many an accident.
The beauty of this little loop is that your never far away from an easy descent back to the centre.

You’ll most likely just need a new bush (shaped like a hula hoop) which sits in the eyelet of the shock. The bolts rarely need replacing. Try http://www.mountainbikecomponents.co.uk/ as well as direct from Orange. They can also sell you a useful tool to help replace the bush

Mine creaks like hell when the pivot bearings need replacing (waits for the usual filing cabinet/bag of spanners jokes). So if there’s no creak its probably the shock bush. :-)

Best riding buddy regularly beats me everywhere on a moosive Foes fly with boxxers upfront. I hate to think what he would be like on a lightweight hardtail. Oh and he’s 1×10 with a 36 tooth chainring, i hate him tbh.
