Opposite is true. Artex is fairly soft whereas textured paints a bitch to remove

Im finding some of this very confusing.

So some of you would want a discount for cash, yet still want an invoice and expect the tradesman to declare it?
I very rarely get offered cash (im a painter), if a customer asked me for a cash discount, then declared that he still wanted me to lose 20% of that to income tax I would unsurprisingly decline :-)

Huge variables apply here, temperature, humidity, surface porosity etc…………………………….sorry fell asleep there (boring subject matter as its my job hell even the colour will affect the smoothness of finish due to darker colours having more colorant thus thinning the paint.

FyI the best brushes Ive ever used are Wooster Picasso, I use hamilton perfection rollers and the best finish I have ever achieved with a roller was with Little green paint.

I think they harvest Ginger people to make them so they must be good

Word of advice, if you feed birds in your garden then move any feeders/ tables away from your windows. We learned the hard way when one killed itself on our conservatory :-(

This obviously depends on your location but places like the Cannop cycle centre in the Forest of Dean sell their hire bikes off every other season. Check out cycle hire centres near you.

Lining paper is the perfect surface for any paper to adhere too.
But.. it can suck up the paste and leave edges dry if you’re not used to it. Sod it there’s too many variables, get a man in :-)

wwaswas is spot on, personally I would charge half a day otherwise its not worth it. anything from £60-80 would be a good guess assuming you’re supplying all materials.
As for doing it yourself then if you haven’t already chosen the paper, go for the new paste the wall variety as it’s much easier to use.

FYI Monmouth has a small cinema if you stay there.
    FoD has a Go Ape.
As wrightyson says Cheltenham and Cotswolds are close so don’t forget those as you search for accomodation.
You know what, Ive forgotten how blummin great this area is :-)

Corkscrew (top half) is a great place to start, GBU needs care on the first run as there are a couple of bigger jumps that aren’t rollable. it’s been awhile since Ive ridden them but I don’t remember any that cant be ridden on a hardtail.

The Abus thing looks good, your options are less limited as whatever you use will be on a tripod rather than bouncing down a hillside so quality will be better. You can buy one of those usb battery packs to power a gopro although that may mean modding the gopro case somewhat. You might consider hiring one instead? Also the resale value of the gopro should be good if you buy one.

Oh and don’t try to add too many pictures at a time to whatever editor you use, unless you have a very powerful computer. I found the best way was to make a number of clips and then join later.

Had several weeks of this last year during the cold spell we had. I messed up my ankle badly and did no exercise for a few weeks then tried to go back to cyling and just couldn’t. Everytime things got hard the palps would start and not lay off. I lost weight, I did a lot of cycling on my own ( so not to ruin other peoples rides) at my own pace and beat it into submission.
So yes it’s normal for many people, and yes you will die, but hopefully not from this ;-)
