this is tricky bordering on impossible

    but five charged with memories

    wild world – cat stevens
dannys all star joint – rickie lee jones
    blind love – tom waits
one bourbon one scotch and one beer- george thorogood
    sweet jane – velvet underground

ask me tomorrow and youd get five different ones though

(and if it was a real desert island some mozart and beethoven would probably be a safer bet)

i gave him an ‘ alright iggy ‘-he gave me a ‘hey man’ we had a chat and i wandered off acting like i bumped into rock legends every day

ill probably get hammered for suggesting this on a hardcore mtb forum but if you just want a ride nr p’boro
a gentle pootle round rutland water is ok in a totally unchallenging way
just nice scenery and a couple of good country pubs
    there i’ve said it!

    agree with sc-xc

regularly riding fixed gear will make smooth high-cadence pedalling become intuitive

now anyone know a bike that will make me a better technical rider?

    you could try: http://www.alanrogers.com

well organized and informative website and in my experience (mainly france) accurate descriptions of campsites you can book through them or just use as a resource

pipe cutters are effective for shortening handlebars – just file/ream out the inside after to get end caps in

just noticed photo link (bit slow on the uptake)
definitely a tap conn not an olive – does look a bit gunky clean it up dry it up and put a washer on it

    tj is correct
conventionally the cistern has a 1/2″ plastic male threaded connection
the inlet pipe probably has a tap conn fitting – a flanged fitting with a captive 1/2″ nut
fit a new fibre washer on tap conn and tighten carefully plastic is prone to cross threading
no ptfe required a bit of clear silicone mastic can help if the plastic face is damaged

ok – just checking cos e-on tried to scam my mum by charging her for their billing error backdated for 8 yrs!

    are you on dual tariff?
lots of energy suppliers seem to get the rates mixed up at point of billing ie charge you charge you cheap rate for your standard rate usage and vice versa- then when they realize they try to backdate their mistake and charge you for it.

+1 for the midge bars – never use the drop section on my road bike bars but find loads of comfy hand positions on the midges – nice n wide, bit flexy and retro cool
