it is the best bike seat Ive used, but the downside is they have to be ready for it, the upside is I get to go ride my bike every weekend and littlun really does come too, also good for hill training, where I constantly get reminded Im going very slow.. 😉

if littlun is stable and able to hold on thne you need one of these…

mines been on it since he was 2 1/2 and loves it, built an old zaskar up for him which this goes on and thats now his bike too, have yet to find something we cant ride… up or down, he quite often pre rides xc race courses with me… 😀

If hes too young then it has to be a wee ride which my 1 year old daughter has with mumm, but not really designed for off road – and cheapest place to get them is asda!

I had this problem with an xtr set and BB – turns out the orig installer (shop) hadnt used a torque wrench aand had tightened the bolts up 'tightly'. Turns out they had over tightened the ali bolts and had actually stretched them, had three races with my cranks hanging off – needed a new BB and bolts (tightened to specified torque).

whose talking about supporting local bike shops – I got all my SIS drinks and gels from Asda yesterday – cheaper than wiggle were too… 😀

are the people that are expecting a 24 hour turnaround/delivery actually paying extra for the 24 service??

An order I placed this week took 2 days, was still showing as processing after I received it, but two days is good, if I wanted it urgently Id have paid extra, or paid extra and bought it locally…

ive been running ten on my cyclo cross bike for nearly three years now – its a dog – slightest bit of mud and its all over the shop, unecessary, makes riding in mud a bitch (unless you like ghost shifting) and costs more

I still run 8 on my mtb too…

hows this being servied – are you mashing it up so its virtually paste – it may be that trying to eat lumps or chunks of food is hurting her..

but saying that doesnt matter how ill any of my cats are they will be crawling up my legs when Ive got the dried prawn treats you can buy…

doesnt matter how much or what training you do the race will be a shock to the system – start racing now, and dont think the vets race is slow poodle, theyre normally faster than most of the sport category in my local races…

Let me put in another way, should a Postman decide what post he wishes to deliver?

eh so has he not recovered other bikes becasue he went after his, or not arrested someone because he was getting his bike back??? Unless theres a huge part of this you havent told us Im not sure what the moan is about

sorry it was ridgeback not diamondback – loads of shops had them I think I got a 2008 bike for about £20 off last september – even though its identical to this years.

Would post pics of little loony dawg flying down hills on his but never worked out how to post pics…

dont forget the diamondback scoot's – cheaper than the speicalized, and my littlun was zooming around on his at age 2 – and more importantly its got a brake – which is very handy as soon as he realizes that downhill means you can put your feet on the down tube and go 'vroom'… He now rides off road more than me…!

youd get that lot into a small one…

A large will carry mini tool kit, my (not insignificant) lunch, pump, tubes, suntan lotion, work clothes, change of riding clothes, w/proof jacket, shoes, phone, DVDs Ive sold on ebay, towel, shower gel, 1 litre bottle of water and Ive still got room if I needed it…

And its been doing stuff liek this nearly every day for the last 15 years…!

Ive been racing xc for near on 15 years (here europe and in the US) and I know theres plenty of terrain for a natural xc course there – I ride it at least once a week! The course that is planned is no where near as good as the natural terrain over there…

still at hadleigh downs in essex. Cant imagine what will make it so expensive, probably consultants fees, building roads that will be used maybe 4 times, cash in the pocket for the right councillor…. Its on private land and itll be a 15-20 min xc course not something youll want to spend a day at…

tbh the whole thing seems to be an exercise in money wastage – theyre building roads and carparks when there are two huge station carparks maybe 200 metres away in both directions, a ready made natural course is already there and yet theyre building another not so good one…

As much as Im looking forward to it its a total exercise in bad management

tinsy if you have a look on the southend council website under planning thayve actually got the plans for the course – personally though it looked a bit short myself, and the ironly is its in the field above the bumpy downhill and the horseshoe that I used to get chased out of when I tried to ride trough it!

yep there will be more elevation than beijing, but they havent built it yet. Theyre supposed to be hosting 3 test races but theyre already too late to be able to do that. The really daft thing is the area its has an amazing variety of xc terrain and theyre building a course less than 50m away from it…

Of and for the people that think its flat Ill gladly take you around the non existent inclines – One (track) commonwealth gold medalist used to train over there quite regularly…

erm, this is a Faces reunion, not the Small Faces – the Faces were a later different entity with Rod Stewart, Ronnie Wood, Kenny Jones, Ian McLagan and the late Ronnie Lane.

Had a pair of Amber walled IRC mythos semi slicks. lasted years as the chances of using them were so few and far between, they needed the driest of dusty summer conditions, but damn if they weren't the nicest looking tyres ever

Ive still got 4 tyres left from around 1996, still use them for racing on the dryest dustiest courses (which as you say are few and far between)

You can still getthem in the US too – can be picked up for about $8…

can also get the regular XC tyres here:

ordered some glove on tuesday – arrived wednesday morning, even before I left for work so I got to wear them straight away…

Why do people blame the retailer for a lot of these cases seem to be down to the post office…. you do realise that its not acutally CRC that put them through the letterbox dont you..??!

And if you want them in a hurry source them locally… dont go to somewhere take the free postage option and expect them to be delivered by 5 virgins in your lap within the hour…

around 80 will give you a steady ride on the flats but enough left to get up short shapr climbs as and when they appear. For whill never let it fall below 60, youre just slogging on the pedals then and wasting energy

its the saddest thing in the world to lose a friend so suddenly.

Its unfortunately not a rare occurence this time of year, a lot of people see the first few rays of sun and start changing oil, antifreeze and the like… Unfortunately they dont take much care when they spill it or dispose of it properly and with something like antifreeze it only takes a cat or dog to walk through it and lick their paws. There are a lot of cases like this in Spring sadly.
