The Buchaille is not possible to ride 100% of the way, if you fancy it you had might aswell take in the exposure and do curved ridge as either way you will be carrying.

I once got 3 pinch punches in 30mins up there!!
Its ok for a 2hr meess about, still wouldn’t say it is really a trail centre though as they are trying to make it. The best stuff is off route.

So many peaple on this thread are loving the Heckler, i bought a 2010 one a year back and sold it after 2 days, just hated the steep head angle, its meant to be an agressive trail / AM bike and i just don’t think it is.As far as i am aware the frame is the same as it’s baby brother.I just think the bike is a little confused and doesn’t know what it is.

That depends which 32 and 36 fork you checked the weights of, some 32’s are way way heavier than certain 36’s.
I went for what looked best on my 456C Thats why i went for the 36’s.
Nothing wrong with running a 32 at all i just chose not to.

I just think the 32’s look too skinny on the big chunky frame.

I went for the Fox 36, made it a tad slacker too, they were tested with a 36 160mm fork, mine rode fine and uphilled like a monster on speed.

The smallest disc i could put on my Bomber 66 rc3 was a 203!!! i also had a 180 on the rear, perfect combo, also depends how heavy you are, but on a patriot id go for bigger is best.

Theres plenty of people out there that has a bike and knows nothing about them! At the end of the day anyone who buys a spez must not have much of an idea about bikes, all you ever see is them bouncing around trail centre carparks with the rider looking confused, or stuck to the top of a bmw 316 roof. No ofense if you have 1.
Cash on collection, well atleast he must have half a braincell………. who in the right mind wants to pay paypal fees!?
Yeh shite advert butthats upto him, i always always do a fantastic advert for anything i sell, people can only go by your advert when bidding, i think its so important.
    Wasn’t your feedback once 2!?

Maxxis HighRoller ST and id go for 2.5 on the front as hey are narrow tyres, and go for the Lust 2.35 on the rear for fast rolling

Thats northshore you would’nt want to fall off / practice on.

Buy a mountain bike and ride off road, then you won’t have that problem.

We did not end up going because the weather was meant to be bad?? I was’nt going to drive 3 hrs there and the same back to push up in the rain and mud.
Will have to plan it a bit better next time and get booked in early with Tally.
We just went ti Gisburn and palyed around on the jumps and the new… well new to me as i have not been for ages Hope line, which i must say was utter rubbish why is it we can not make anything suoper impressive in the UK like they can in the alps, i know we do not have th the big mountains but take that away and they still make better trails than us.
The only trail that i really like in the UK is Golspie Wildcat, Inners is OK i suppose buts about it. You the have Nevis Range which is great, but there is nothing else that impresses me, nothing in Wales for me and rest of 7stanes just boring.

Speaking to a couple of lads up there and they were saying it is some lads from a bike shop thats built it.

5s are the biggest rip off bikes money can buy, stupidly priced and crap spec.

Go for a Heckler, ( i have 1 for sale ) Pics available. shameless plug… Or as other people say a Zesty, both are amazing bikes. Or maybe a Canyon, slightly heavy though, cube stereo which are nice. even a Ghost which are decent spec but a tad pricey but get good reviews. Maybe even the new Pace, super looking trail bike. or Kona coilair deluxe for something a little more All Mountain. JE James have them in stock half price for £1,500, Infact what ever you bought would be better than an Orange, sorry but i just hate them.

Im 6ft 1 and got a medium, i put a short 50mm stem on too but also added a thomson layback, perfect for my techie type of ridding, i can chuck her around all day long aswell as ride her all day :D
I suppose if you wanted to ride 1 all day around bridleways then id defo go for a large, but if thats wehat you was going to do you wouldnt be buying a Heckler!?….. Right.

Id never ever put my bike in the hands of the baggae handlers EVER again.
They treat them in the worst way you could veer imagine, they don’t give a shite. Or if you HAVE to send it via air get a hard case bike box, nothing else will do.

”when her bike failed to negotiate a bend.”????? Surly it was the women which did not negotiate the bend, not the bike.
I see so many road bikers cycling on the road with no helmets, its barmy, although if she was wearing a helmet, its just one of them things, it does not state wether it was external or internal head injuries,Most people die of damage that can not be seen due to the brain slamming into the skull and bleeding and swelling internaly.
