Just got a set of their ss wheels… look superb for the money and the xc rims seem to have the exact same design/profile/weight as my mavic 717’s 😉

I got a new v70 r-design last june… the 2.0 diesel 136hp… really superb car, space, quality etc… the engine is cr*p though… mpg = 40….no matter what you do – and in this include filling it with 5 people, 5 bikes on the roof, loads of stuff till it's bulging at the seems and sticking a large trailer tent behind it…. and when it takes me solo on the motorway – yep it still gives 40mpg

I used to have a Toyota avensis estate – 2.2 170hp top of the range thing… brill engine (55mpg with just me on a run) but when loaded the mpg dropped through the floor and it sat down 😯 due to soft suspension….

In the process of a major upgrade on a charge duster ss frame – in original spec i loved it lots so with all the new stuff arriving this week and a new paint job I won't be able to stay off it 😀

Avoid diadora chillis – got some last winter and caught the cuff on my chianring 2nd time out… it ripped…

went shopping again and got some gaerne boots – warm, comfy, dry and a really good cuff! Well worth the money – overshoes dont work off road 🙄

16mph on the flat…30 downhill…. but i am a bit 'bigger' now… :D.Junior road-racing in the good old old days was helpful as they restricted you to 52-15 (93")- helped me then as the fastest peddler won!!

Put mine in a balloon with a cable tie on the 'open' end – even went for a little swim one drunken night by mistake with no ill effects 😯

Been riding NN's for 18 months and love em! Got snakeskin 2.25's with slimes on my ss and double defense on my HT. Very grippy I find

Coped very well all last winter on the ss (1 punture) riding 3-4 times a week on rooty trails and since the DD's went on for the summer only had 2 punctures running normal tubes. ps. hate punctures!
