It’s on the doorstep – no need for a car so cider can be consumed in a warm welcoming hostilery with a roaring log fire 😆

I ran a pub for 8 years and was pi55ed every night…(15-20 pints, a bottle or 2 of wine every day). Used to stay off it till 9pm to convince myself I didn’t have a problem – but I did….

The last year that went out the window and lunch time sessions became the norm. I got out in 2001, got a job that required me to keep a driving license, tokk up mountainbiking, and lost 4 stone!

I still drink a bit – mainly when cycling – but am fit and happy 😆

Got the top one – waterproofed battery in a balloon with a cable tie – been like that for loads of very wet rides!

O-ring broke after a while – went to B+Q and got a pack of plumbing O-rings and they are working fine and only cost about a quid!

When not so broke will order one of the new batteries as a spare!

I might be wrong but… can’t they only charge you 3 times in one day??? (assuming all on the same day)

I have found going up to the counter and discussing it loudly for as long as possible makes me feel better and once had some charges revoked by the Halifax to get me out the branch (I think..) 😀

Mate of mine got one a few months back – he looooooves it! Sold his carbon HT soon after as he started to hate it in comparison 😯

lets look at some reality….

I had to give up work 3 years ago to look after my wife (cronically ill and disabled) after her conditions got worse. I get housing benifit for my rented house (3 beds – 2 kids) in a nice area in Hampshire. £700 pcm is the rent – the max payable under the ‘old’ rules is £680 pcm….

I have real issues with people living in million pound houses and claiming tens of thousands in housing benifit when I cant afford to live in a house with a downstairs loo…. Is that fair??

PS. I used to be a higher rate tax payer….. so maybe I should get a ‘liitle extra’ help????

If you live in a million pound house and can’t afford it – MOVE.

Try speaking to ski olympic – stayed in Reberty with them season before last and they had a freindly dog living in one of the chalets!!

Will avoid riding near trees!

I went from 18.5 stone of non-exercised flab to 14.5 stone of chubbyness riding a ss quite hapily with the faster guys in a local club in 18 months!
I still went to the pub and ate loads of rubbish whilst doing it – just rode as hard as i could, 3-4 hours, 3-4 times a week 😯

Did mayhem and Torq in your sleep this year ss….

I use that on the bars and a torch on the helmet – brill!!

BUT – waterproof the battery, I put mine in a balloon and a cable tie round the neck 😯 it works!

as far as a back light – whatever – your riding OFF road!
