I have the tedious job of applying the double sided tape to celebrity ladies cleavages to stop them falling out of their dresses, but I wish I had picked a different career…

That is an old pic, I have a Reverb on it now, you should see that cabling, I have not cut it to length yet and it it wrapped round the seat post scratching hell out of my top tube. I should really get round to shortening it. Oh I also have some matchmakers on it too now.

I did 31.1 mph the other week which is the first time I used my Garmin for speed. My mate has done 41 mph but I think that was on his road bike.

    Puremountains.com
Mountain bike holidays with wilderness trails and farmhouse accommodation in Sierra Nevada, Spain.
We will be going for our third time this year.
Great trails for all abilities and they have a great support vehicle too.

Ruffians for me. The choice of the pros is good enough for me too. And they last plenty too.

Inner has a DH race this weekend, you might have to push it up pass the crowds at the bottom, but the rest of the course should be Ok, not sure about the end bottom section though. I’m off the Glentress for a blast instead.

I have some matchmakers with my Tech levers, have to run them quite far in, my Reverb (under bar) even more in, but love them, I change gear with my thumb tips now, very nice.

A Garmin Edge 500. Now I feel like a Pro, shame I can’t ride like one. But chuffed to bits with it.

The diversion turns a sharp right, just before you hit the trees after the long haul on the fire road after the quary. if that helps. One hell of a climb too it is, but you got-to-do-it.

U2 at Milton Keynes – went on holiday instead. Live Aid the week before or after the U2 gig – went on a different holiday. The Beat at Tiffanys in Leeds. The Cult on the Love tour.

deadlydarcy – I saw MJ on the Bad tour in Leeds, the best bit was when the band played a Prince song when MJ had a wee rest at half time, and all the MJ fans were wondering what MJ album this song was from and we were singing along with the band, so funny. MJ was crap. Kim Wilde was great too as support.

Wish I had seen The Who in Leeds but not sure I was born then…

Do you have the same problem as me with those silly little rubber seals that never stay in place, after ages I manage to put them back in position, then they are soon just round the axle not doing very much.

I discovered Gansta Rapp in my 30s, the Old School stuff is great. Recently, Led Zep and Sabbath, always liked rocky stuff but these are the real greats.

Do you have my package too. I have been waiting over a week for it to be delivered? Carbon paste and an inner tube, exciting stuff I know, but I really could do with it now…

Wait on… how many packages have you had from CRC, that you have not told anyone about, because they have had good stuff in that you want?

Saw it last night, what a film. Some very funny bits in it too. Some great acting and some bad acting. Have to go see it again, I must have missed so much.

Ran naked round the cul-de-sack where I lived when I was about 12, at night egged on by a few pals that we were camping out with in the back garden.
    Skinny dip in Greece too.
Not very adventurous I know, maybe I should be getting naked more often – or maybe not…

I had really bad neck and shoulder pain from riding and I put a bit more air into my front forks and it worked a treat. You could maybe try that.

I have not tried these companies but I have used Puremountains.com we are going back for the 3rd time in September. Great people running it, great accommodation and great trails with great vehicle support too. Tell them BigBadBob recommended it to you and you might get free beer on your trip.

I’ve got a CK and it is only starting to go now after 15 years, out of warranty now though. They only have a 10 year warranty. They were the best by far in them days, but now Hope are pretty good too. If I had the money I would still get a CK though.

Try the Blue Pig, that’s a good ride. I’m sure the guys at Blazing Saddles HB can give you plenty of info about that and many more routes.

Good question mate, I was just wondering the very same thing, I have just fitted a Reverb and storing it with my other bikes I have to have the seat down. So I think from the replies we are OK having it down.

I use a 2.35 on the back, great fun, good for the muddy stuff. I would say a 2.5 would be a bit large for the back, stick it on the front and get a 2.35 for the back. Smaller tyres cut through the mud better, or so they say.

I remember when I was about 6 or 7, I shouted ‘Bring out the Bastards’ I meant to say Branston, my Mum did not see the funny side – belted for that one I was.

My son used to called them, and even now the whole family still call them ‘Smokerettes’.
