I’ve always thought a noisy freewheel/hub is like a passive aggressive bell.

If your shoes are too big the cleat will be too far forward. Jam it as far back as it will go to see if it makes any difference – would suggest talking to “a professional” though.

Kind of ironic that a carpenter was nailed to a plank. The bible would have ended very differently if he’d had his toolkit with him.

It was a bit long for me I’ll stick with Thomas the tank engine. It has morals and everything.

Why not compromise and get 172.5 ‘s ?

    Will it have “enhanced performance?”

Although the current XT shifters have an annoying ridge on them that assumes that you will run them inboard of the brake levers.

National express is a cheap way to get around but for some reason there are always nuns amongst the passengers and they don't sell beer.

I couldn't care less what he (or anyone for that matter) gets up to in bed, however I do care about the horrific images of him I now have in my head.

I can't see how it would do any harm however you might want to take other things into account. I've used light machine oil (ie sewing machine oil) in the past which works fine but does turn into a black shitty mess.

    Other options may be:

While you're at it you could oil all the hinges in yr house and maybe use some to reduce nipple chafing.

It's probably a bit flammable and poisonous for cooking.

Put it in an ornamental glass bottle with some lemon slices and whole chilli's in it on the mantlepiece as a talking point.

Sell it to a body builder to smear them selves up with.

    sorry 😀

I can categorically say no – it's a little bit more than regular road brakes – say about 1 to 2mm. I swore a lot.

I'm 6'6" 36" inside leg run 180 mm on the road bike and 175's on the mtb's. Notice some extra leverage on the road bike but I reckon longer cranks off road increase chance of pedal strike when technique is crap as mine ……

My 2 year old particularly likes the current Katy Perry vid. I found it a bit uncomfortable, she looks a bit like a living sex doll.

Just replaced the cassette carrier on my pro2 with a steel one, XT hub cut right through the narrowest spline. But I'm a big heavy hoofer (120Kg :D) and can handle the extra 100g

Second the Bondhus ones – they are a bit longer so good for pedals/cranks etc. Just wish I knew where the special place in the world my 5mm one went.

Typically stuff from LBS's in Oz costs at least twice as much as CRC or Wiggle. Generally no import duty to pay and don't pay 17.5% VAT. Recently seen an Australian companies products (JetBlack static trainers) for sale in the UK for considerably less than they retail for here. Utter madness.

Never had any problems. I'm in Australia and was a bit bewildered when my last order of 3 things was sent in 3 separate packages over a couple of weeks (it wasn't all in stock) even though it was free shipping. I can only assume the mark up is enough to cover the shipping cost. I'm surprised they don't have a "don't send 'til it's all in stock' tick box like Amazon. Had a couple of problems with CRC over the years but they always dealt with it quick and easy.

not sure if the campy rear hub will be put together the same way but I had some creaking issues with a shimano rear wheel, it turned out that the threads on the hollow bolt that holds the freewheel assembly onto the hub body had corroded away – so the freewheel bit eventually just fell off. Must have been the axle deep puddles …. new hub required 🙄

you can eliminate the rear wheel by borrowing one from somebody else 😀
