    Just to be clear,
I am not (Despite what everyone who know me says) stupid enough to put my credit card details on a obviously dodgy website, to buy an obviously massively under priced bike.

I was merely wondering how the scammers planned to benefit from it, when you could just claim the money back on your credit card when the bike unsurprisingly didn’t turn up.

I appreciate everyone’s messages, enlightening me on the multitude of ways i would loose my shirt.

Anyway I am off to buy some magic beans…..

I had a look at where they were based, and yes the massive shopping complex they are apparently in, has no listing for them, or any other bike shop.

Safe to say they are not getting my credit card number.

Still cant see the end goal though, unless someone pays without a credit card?

Just a heads up, If you are planning to ride the “Lots House bridleway”
the bit of Concessionary Bridleway between Moorside farm and Roburndale plantation is closed.
You can get about halfway up past the Waterworks, but no further.

The rest of it is all open as usual

I struggled to list stuff as well.
I found it worked if you put the category as the Blanket term rather than the specific one (I.e Components instead of Wheels)

I assumed it was just me or my computer being stupid, I feel a bit better now it’s happening to someone else 😁

The fork is a fox 34 factory, and I set it up without having to go stupidly high pressure.

The rear shock is working a lot better than it probably has any business doing, and I can probably manage with it as is.

I just wondered if a cheap volume spacer would make it even better.

Ive done the whole Slimming Word thing.

The plan does work, the weight will fall off if you stick with it.
But Sliming word recipies are crap. as you said the timings are all way off and a lot of it comes out as vegetable slop.

The best thing i found is Pinch of Nom’s website

    Home

I used to prep several meals over the weekend, then portion it up and freeze them.
Then if one of your other recipies fail, you can reheat your pre-preped meal.

There are a few places in Staveley with Wifi.
Mainly on the Mill yard. Wilf’s, More bakery, Hawkshead brewery, Mr Duffins coffee shop,

Mr Duffins do fantastic coffee, and cake.

Wilf’s is good for a fry up.

More bakery do great pies and pastrys if you’ve recently taken out a mortgage, or sold some internal organs.

Hawkshead brewery, obviously have beer, and also do nice meals

If you are really struggling, I could be persuaded to give you our office wifi password, but you may have to do a bit of graft for us in return 😉

Plus we don’t have nice coffee or beer 🙁

    Ragley. All the way.
I have more fun on my 2017 mmmbop, than on my all singing and dancing Carbon Santa Cruz 5010. And they are very fun bikes.

I am infinitely fortunate to have lived and worked around the lakes all my life.

Take the MTB. The roads round here are perfectly safe, and fantastic to ride.
Unfortunately you are going to have to share them with the most dangerous idiots in the world – tourists!!

I have lost count of the times, I have nearly been killed by someone driving along with their head at 90°, looking out the side window at some sheep. Or a hill. Or whatever else they deem more important than looking where the F$#k they are going.

Besides a MTB can sub in as a road bike better than the road bike on a lake district trail.
