    Selling my Stanton Slackline…
    Its too small for me.
Its on ebay if you are interested.
Not sure if it will be replaced with 26 or 29 yet.
Check out what Fabien Barel says about 26inch wheels on Dirt magazine web site.

Second shout for a skills day.
I’ve done 2 days with different coaches.
Tom Dowie at Chicksands is a really nice guy and fantastic bike handler, his drops and jumps morining/afternoon was good and informative.
Neil Donughue’s day out was enjoyable for me but my mate didn’t enjoy it and thought is was a waste of money.

I saw Fabien Barel coaching guys on my last trip to the Alps too many years ago, it looked like a fun boot camp with one the finest bike riders in the world. He is crackers!

Golfers spend fortunes on Pro’s showing them how to hit a ball!

Only ask because Rockshox coil heavy weight spring max weight is for a rider of 90kgs or so.
I have sektor air something and its brilliaint! 115kgs.

Thanks dudes. I was thinking of getting a Specialized Camber 29er.
But the Trek stache looks just like my kinda thing.
Then start saving for the Yelli frame.
    Now 7 or 8?

I rented a caravelle from local vw rental. Took the back seat out.
5 riders and 5 bikes happily up to fort bill.
Enquired about taking a van abroad but no rental companies were willing.
Perhaps a people carrier or something like that.

    Toyota Hiace.
    Usually owned by the driver.
Basic but thats why I love mine,
1st van had 180k when I sold it because of LEZ.

    6’3″ with massive feet.
Try the breathing thing, you might find works.
Can’t remember times but enjoyed 3.5km open water last year
Entered for sub 50 minutes at Hampton to Kingston bridge to bridge but messed up with rescheduling and missed event.

    Challenge?

Sorry chaps (and chapettes) I dont mean hold it the whole length, 8O
Breathe out and in as quick as possible, kind of like a whale.
    Every second or third stroke.

    Breathe…
Hold your breath as long as you can (3 strokes) and exhale quickly, inhale as much air as you can as quick as you can.
    Its all in the timing.
Practice in an empty pool, all pools are empty on Friday evenings.
Work on getting a nice steady rhythm and you’ll wish you could swim home.
Glide. Try and get as few strokes per length as possible, this is where breathing helps your buoyancy.
I typically get 15 strokes in per length of 25 meter pool, with tumble turns and big push I can get it down to 13.
Nice steady kick, keep your feet close to the surface.
Try and make as few bubbles as possible.
Reach, stretch as far foward as you can to start each stroke.

Most important, have fun. But it sounds like you’ve already cracked that.

Buy the oldest steak you can find before it goes off.
Open the package at room temp.
Chuck a little olive oil and worcester sauce on it in package.
Get all your other stuff ready, eg. Cook chips etc.
Get the pan nice and hot, drop in a little butter or oil.
Sprinkle salt on top of steak in package
Throw it in pan salt side down snd sizzle, put a bit of salt on raw side while browning under.
Turn it over and seal other side.
Turn it twice more and serve if u like it med rare.
Serve with a glass of red.

Not as easy to use as old htc desire.
You have to download an app to get the torch to work.
Apps and widgets dissappear and change for no reason.
Keeps asking to download updates a million times.
When asking Vodafone why there app keeps needing updating they give you Samsung’s national rate phone number.

On the plus. Its screen is nice and big.
    Battery life depends on use.

I work on dusty building sites and have had no issue with reliability.
    Just the software.

For leg cramp, keep warm, hydrate before and after cycling, stretch.
For pinch flat, inflate tyres a little more, new tyres and tubes, go on a diet.
Sorry, don’t mean to be condescending but I suffered from both too.

    Stay on the hard tail.

Ten years ago I “retrained” to be a plumber at the age of 30.
I was lucky enough to get an apprenticeship with local company, I earned under 40 quid a day but did private jobs on weekends.
I work for myself now and do everything from dripping taps to complete refurbs.
I’m not rich yet but work in some amazing place and for awesome people, sure there are dicks but I don’t work for them long.
No 2 days are the same and I’m always busy.

    Get a trade.

Very limited market. Put it on ebay on free insertion with the least you accept if it sells, great! If not at least you tried.
Although, hang onto frame if you have a problem with current frame you have a back up to ride.

Went for Stanton Slackline 18, TT is slightly longer than bfe.

    750mm race face bars.
    Currently Marzocchi 44Ti 150mm with 9mmQR
Rockshox Revs 20mm waiting for hub adapters.
Climbs like any other bike without engine and my tyre popping 18st Ogre girth…
    Downhill in a word, AWESOME!
