Most Jaffa cakes wedged into my mouth without chewing!
    Almost suffocated in the process.

I’ve just bought a drop through, it’s amazing!
Reminds me of snowboarding. I can really lean on it in corners.
Just starting to make it slide.
Riding easy hills and just a great way to unwind, like riding a bike but not.

    Discgolf! Like golf with Frisbees.
    Dress your stag accordingly.
A drink at each hole for loser and stag.

I did some sub contracting for British Gas, I’m not surprised it was poorly fitted they raped me!
Before you ask I didn’t fit any Baxi Solos!
Coroded burner might be “at risk” but it easily changed.

    +1 for swimming!
My daily work is physically demanding and suffer from back pain whenever I’m really stressed out (self employed).
I have an amazing osteo who has the Midas touch, but always seem to need him when I’ve not spent any time in the pool.
I don’t enjoy gym or any of that stuff but I can swim for ages, my point I guess is look for something you’re comfortable doing and enjoy.
My last few rides have been over 2 hours & last weekend I did my 1st 57 miles.
Back felt tender but not troublesome.

Just get the slackline. You could ride either size.
    It’s awesome.
    Confident and rips corners apart.
Reduced my travel from 150 to 130 and it felt pin sharp!

I picked up a 3 year old Vito with massive miles for not much money almost 3 years ago now.
I used to be a massive Hiace fan but couldn’t find a used one and went with the Vito because it’s rear wheel drive.
I will replace this Vito with another Vito, the 113 for the head but the 116 for the heart.
Goes round corners great, good stereo, good legroom and nice driving position means I’m happy in it all day if need be.
Good mpg and quick enough to rack up points for speeding..
Injectors have been a pain but I don’t think this van had an easy life in its 1st few years.
But it’s the other things this van does like Windows not fogging up and staying clear, under 6 foot high and fits in almost all low roof parking garages.
I wasn’t sure about 2 sliding doors now I can’t see how I’d live without them.

The VW is a great van too. Drive both.
Avoid anything with wing mirror indicators!!!

Bear in mind the engine may not comply with Low Emission Zones in the future.
I had to sell my 1st Hiace because it didn’t comply.

My feet are size 13 and for years couldn’t get any covers in my size, boots off..
Always have the covers in the van now.
Cheap pack from screw fix lasts forever even though they only last once.
Any trip outside requires a new pair when needed.
Carpet protector roll for longer jobs.

Some of the boiler manufacturers employees can be miserable, but generally they’re professional and polite.
I do hate white/light carpets though. Even with covers on its a worry, I’ve had a screwdriver fallout my tool bag and leave a nice mess on her carpet!, scardeypants you can make of that what you will!!

My 158000mile 09 plate Vito 109 is brilliant!
£20 will get over 100 miles even into London. On long motor way trips it’s even better.
Great to drive, even the Mrs was impressed the few times she driven it and we’ll replace our current Japanese MPV with one as a family car.
Simple stuff like clearing the windscreen on the heater/blower works fantastic.
Even the stereo sound is good.
I looked briefly at the T5 but they were way more expensive for the same thing
But also you’ll see Vianos on auto trader with a zillion miles (ex-mini/exec cabs) on and they still look good.

Try finding a small local company with a little office.
    Why?
They’re usually run by the owner who will be relatively organised and wants to get things done.
The last guy I sub contracted for was very cool.
Try contacting Worcester Bosch, Vaillant, Potterton, Ideal or any of the manufactures, they have recommended installers.
Gas Safe website also has a list of local installers.

When we start destroying vast areas of natural land to lay down a few bits of nice grass and fancy club house with a dress code we might be getting close.
Until then people can drive a ride what they like.

    Both had big miles.
    Both have been cool.
    Toyota hiace. Bombproof.
Merc vito. Bits fall off but its great to drive.

I’ve just reduced my forks from 150 to 130 because it’s not too hilly around here.
    Nothing will out corner it!
Around the time I built it up I got a respectable (in my mind) Strava top 13 on Barry Knows Best, respectable because I wasn’t fit and get dropped on the pedal bits.
    It manuals beautifully.
I’ve been on hard tails for about 8-9 years now and I thought it felt like a full suspension but I doubt it would feel that way coming from a bouncer.
There’s a Stanton owners group on facebook.
Around the time of buying it I’d narrowed my choice down to a cotic or the slackline, the Dirt 100 swayed it (and cotic had no stock).
