I built a fireline and much preferred the ride to my ti 456 so sold the 456, that I believe is down to my prefferance for 29″ness.

We fitted a dog flap, spent 15 mins training her to use it, hey presto takes herself out for a leak, then straight back to bed/sleep this was at 12 weeks, still using now at 2.

Wonder how patterdle and lab got it together, must have involved a buffet.

Turner, over the past 8 years I have had a horst and dw 5 spot and a dw sultan, still got the 2 dw bikes. All they have ever needed is cleaning and grease, via the zerks. Wouldnt have any thing else now.

Cos I wanted some tough wheels, would have much prefered mavic as in 26 mode I have always used 521/321, however the only offering from mavic is 719. Asked around for rim suggestions and all I got was Flows.
I am about to need a pair of 29 wheels for a sultan – rim recomendations welcome 😀

If any one makes fun sit on them 😉
Speaking as a 20 stoner I am way past worrying about what folk think. Just get on with it, you get more respect than the couch spuds. As far as the kit goes as long as you havent aimed lightweight you will be fine. Note avoid skinny rims and coil fork and shok.
If you are any where near Shrops I will happily hook up for a bit of pootle style stuff. Its only the first month that hurts.

    Finished today! 20″
    Need a longer stem + 20mm
    Points to note-

Post mount was slightly short hole to hole, had to use a mount and drill out the mount holes, to get the bolts in. Anyone else had the same issue?

If the rear mech cable stop had been mounted to the side it would enable bigger tyre use, in the clag the cable will be shaving mud.

    Only using 2.2 Ralphs
