I love it, never a dull moment.

It is the 350, does that matter? I only wanted to know where I could plug the charger in!

DD at my age I’m just happy to have a full head of hair. How are you fixed in that dept? My guess is thinning a bit on top. 😳

Checked passenger footwell and there it is. I now believe that STW can answer any question, any question at all.

    Thank you.

Cross are very nice to use, as are old Parkers.

Watched it live on Eurosport HD, great racing. Some of the best. Shame that Froome took a kicking but great racing nonetheless.

I’ve been running a Mk1 MX5 for 4 years and it still puts a smile on my face most times I drive it. Cheap to run and fun to drive, what’s not to like?

Thanks Klutz, I thought that might be the case with RAW files.

    Any other users?

When I say “need”………. I’ve been really impressed with two of the new tools in CS6, the Blur Panel and the HDR panel that I have used in the trial version. The problem is that I can’t afford to purchase it right now, so wondered if it was available at a bargain price anywhere.

I want/need the full version of Photoshop, what i don’t need is all the bundled stuff that comes with it.

I have a 60d if you have any specific questions on the model. I have no idea what the 650d is like but have had 450, 500, 550 and still have a 600d.

Serious question; why would you/anybody want a touch screen on a DSLR?

I’m with Stumpy on this. I would rather have my mid range kit (7d and 60d plus good compliment of lenses) and invest in travel rather than go full frame.

Of course if I had the money I would do both!

I would go for the Mk1, bags of character and great fun all year around. My wife owns a brand new BMW and I have this

I rarely drive hers, don’t get me wrong the BMW is a great car, but it isn’t anything like as much fun to drive as my 5.

Running costs are so low. The most we have spent by a long shot in one year was £215 and that inc 2 new tyres.

I could be up for some Meggings action but I’m not sure I’m ready for the inevitable “visible boxer line” quandary.

Oh Heavens to Bettsy!! The scourge of Warranty departments is saddling up…..

Cracking use of the phrase “Heavens to Bettsy!”. Haven’t heard that in ages.

    Carry on.

Hmmmm …… about 6 months ago I swapped from the working in the office to working from home. I missed the commute so much that I now get up every morning to ride between 0630 and 0730. The wife, and her dog walking mates, think I’m nuts.

I have a similar set up to the one you are proposing. I use a 600d with a 580ex 11. I have t say I was quite worried about the “line of sight” but so far it hasn’t been too much of a problem. The “line of sight” seems quite flexible to be honest.

I did have one problem on a particularly bright day that was difficult to work around but generally I’ve been impressed with the set up.

If you have any other specific questions I will try to answer.

Thanks Grum. That’s really useful. I have bought a small soft box off eBay and will probably buy a Brollie and stand too. I would be much more comfortable doing shots outside but as they are a fair way away I have to set a date and stick with it, so I’m looking at a fall back plan in case the weather is awful.

I would prefer to use the 100 but they live in an old house with small rooms so that might not be an option.

Thanks guys. I have a 100mm f2 prime and a 50mm f1.4 prime so ok for lenses. And I have a 580ex that I can fire off camera. Just not sure if I need backdrops, backlights, brollies and soft boxes?

I quite like the idea of candid tyle walking in the woods or playing on the park shots. The problemis when it is peeing it down and the only option is indoors.

I must be losing my touch. I used to be able to get to over 100 replies before people got bored.

Sorry, I will go eat now.

Another chin is not going to help with your new image is it?

Grum – I hear what you are saying but for me it will just be too fill in the quiet periods as I am building the niche side of the business. As I am about to launch I reckon I have enough clients to run at about 50% capacity. I’m not great at sitting around not doing much so thought I could use Groupon clients to fill the gaps.

Good luck to you if you decide to go for it!

Neal G – that’s pretty much what I have thought when I have heard people being interviewed/comlaining about Groupon. A local garage offered car servicing at £35 for a full service. He sold hundreds and could not honour all the vouchers within the time frame. He then went on local radio saying Groupon had nearly put him out of business as he was working at a loss on the deals and having to turn away full price customers as he was too busy! Madness.

Markie/Mrs Markie – thank you very much for that, I really do appreciate it. I shall put some costings together and make contact with our Groupon rep. i might email you in the future if anything else comes up and you do not mind?
