Have done and probably will be there again shortly. Its palatable to me as i stay in an expat camp it has everything on site, I have ventured and traveled to other cities as work required. My parents lived there in the 80’s and its a lot better today than it was then. Are we saying that sealant in high pressure tyres is 50:50 if it works or not, and it might be easier no sealant and if puncture does occur throw in a tube and not have the hassle of messy liquid to fight against?

Reference glitter, what is it, where do you get it, and how much do would you use and can it make a difference?

Was working near Nizwa earlier this year, but I took my road bike, did some long rides including the road up to Jebel Akhdar, you need a police permit to get past the checkpoint, and Jebel Shams. Was on the top of the Akhdar not seen a car or person in 2 hours and in the opposite direction was another cyclist we almost collided in shock!

If you do road work be careful I was going to cycle from Muscat to Nizwa but would not advise, it is too dangerous due to other traffic, they dont see cyclist nor ride a bike so they dont give you much clearance, stay off the main drags

Pete think you nailed it there it depend on car config, big mpv’s with third row fixed seats that dont fold flat will not work as load space limited behind, its finding the car with fold down seats be it suv or mpv depends if rental company allows you to walk round to find the one with max space

Oman – far more interesting, try getting out of Muscat if you can, some of it is spectacular and the Omani’s are very friendly/helpful

Did Tenerife three times (week)last year, did not rain once, regretted not spending a day at Gomera supposed to be good, and as we were south did not do the Tiede approach from the north. If you can fit it in it will be worthwhile. Its a slog from bottom to top but worth it, I am 57 today and had no issues doing it.

My prescription lenses had a free upgrade to transitions(costco) I like them, they work sort of unknown to you its only when you see a reflection you actually realize they have darkened.
I was told they dont work in the car as the car windscreen filters out the harmful UVA/B which is used to darken the transition leans?
