No good news stories here….I was told mine wasn’t broken and to wear an elasticated splint for a couple of weeks. 6 months later when in a lot of pain, a different consultant told me it had been broken and the bone has now fused back together (but not in the right place!!!). I’m holding off on the op for now (self employed – cant afford the time off) – I’ll wait until it gets really painful. I can still ride with a wrist brace on…and thats all that matters 😀
My iPhone 5 only loses about 10% charge after a 2 hour strava – dont know wether the battery is better or worse than in a 4. As a comparison my 3Gs was usually flat after a 2 hour ride (from full charge). Age of the phone will have a big effect on battery consumption…..
£1.25 for 220/250g cannister. I’ve done calor before but theyre just too big and heavy. Would like the option of taking a few of these cannisters in the car and being able to dispose of the cannisters and buy new ones on campsite (or nearest town)…
sprocketjockey: yes! …. I have the connection, as you say, through settings/VPN etc….just need some way of viewing the files….is that what iremotedesktop does?
We used SKIIDY GONZALEZ[/url] Last year. Seemd pretty good. Worked out at about 50E each person (including bikes). They try to fill the minibus up for each trip, so you may have to wait for another incoming flight. We didn’t wait more than 20 mins.
And they wear sombreros!! Result…..
Just taken delivery of a 1200lm light. Not used yet but looking forward to it!!
Is there any after market clamp bracket available instead of the rubber band arrangement?
Probably looking at Revs or Sektors, as you suggest…Looks like I might be in the market for a front wheel, then.
Anything cheaper than the reccomended Hope Hoop that’ll do the job?
Thanks for all the replies…Nice to know what to expect etc …….Just wish the consultant had listened to the radiographer who spotted that it was broken. 😡
Next stop …. appointment with orthopaedic specialist ….
I did mine in 2006. Totally smashed to pieces. 14 pieces of steel and titanium were put in to hold it all together. I spent 6 weeks with a back slab (half a cast) on and couldnt drive for another 2. I think I rode probably 4-5 months after coming off, but i needed a lot of intensive physio.
Had another op to remove the metalwork and regain some extension in my arm still about 10-15 degrees from straight.
I would try a ride round the block when youve got some strength back in it – see how you feel…..
