I’ve had a 2018 V60 T4 R-Design Nav since October last year. Absolutely love it! MPG isn’t brilliant (I get about 30 average and I have a heavy right foot. Have had 35ish on longer Mway trips) but if I was bothered about such things I’d have bought a Diesel. Haven’t had a service on it yet… and nothing gone wrong yet so cant tell you bout costs etc. Havent noticed the poor turning circle as mentioned above (maybe all my previous cars have been similar!).
Boot is a great size and with seats down it can get a good amount of crap down to the tip.

Edit: Headlight washers are ridiculous! my seem to chuck out half a litre all over the bonnet every time they come on

£250K? I’d pay double that for each of mine…. dont think you can put a price on it…

    This:

Whilst still feeling like you’re climbing all the way round

    And this:

You’re constantly thinking, the good bit must come soon, then it ends and the relief hits you.

Deggers and Dalby are about the same drive for me. Deggers wins hands down. I Guess if you’re close to Dalby then give it a go…

Another vote for Porthclais here. Stayed there a few times over the last few years. Cliff top site with cracking views over the sea, short walk to little harbour for crabbing/jumping in, St Davids easily walkable.

CAVEAT! When its windy, you better have pegged out ALL your guys……

ZIP cards look like a bit of a faff…. probably stick with Contactless and Oyster for sproglets.

    Thanks again, all.

How old are the teens ?

    15 & 17….

TBH i think theyve both got bankcards these days so they could pay for themselves! result.

its often quicker or about the same time to walk in central London

Agreed, most things were wanting to do are walkable and would take longer on the tube

Yes, get oysters for the teens, you can use your contactless.

That hadn’t even occurred to me ….

I bought a bottle a few months ago when putting some new tyres on. When I went to change tyres back 3-4 weeks later the sealant had coagulated/separated into thick balls of goo and a very thin watery substance. Spoke to Uber about it but they couldn’t think what had caused it. Using stans at the mo.

Get this book – got plenty of routes in it. Perfectly possible to get back to avoriaz from Morzine – Get on the Super Morzine lift, then on the zore lift. then either down into Les Lindarets and get lift back to Avoriaz or climb up the road to Avoriaz.

I have the Source Hipster which is 1.5 litres (bladder), Very minimal in extra cargo space – 3 small external pockets on the bag and 2 mesh pockets on the belt. Not really any good if you want to carry a spare top but not as bulky as some.

Watch this space, he’ll be after a bundle discount on that shaft thingy and the LT linkage shortly!

    What an excellent idea!

    @benpinnick
no problem Ben, if the Biketart one doesn’t come off (still haven’t been refunded, so it might still happen!) I’ll order from you anyway (your delivery costs are a lot less than J-Tech!). Might be interested in a linkage as well – I see they’re in stock sometime in June – would these be out and delivered by early July?
