    Hi Alphabet
I am a sat installer and always recommend Humax to my customers, they are a really good quality product and an easy to use menu which the cheaper ones seem to lack.Plus they work of a weak signal not that it should affect you in the uk if thats where you live.yes you can series link, rewind etc..

I have had the van version for nearly two years now.It is a very good driving position and nippy for a 1500 diesel.I am a self employed electrician and it works fine for me,bikes go in without taking wheels off.The downsides are only two seats up front and no tailgate option in the van version i can’t remember if it’s available in the Kombi version.oh yeah and no external temperature gauge for some reason.Hope this helps

i got one three months ago and can’t fault it.i got a good terralogic fox fork and some american classic wheels with it which definitely help but the frame rides great.i read a lot of reviews first and everyone seems to say the same thing. My previous bike was a good hardtail trek 26 which i liked and i also borrowed a giant anthem for a week which was good but i like the ride of hardtails.Try and demo one at a dealers before you buy.

Whichever book it is ,I have the one in the foto and thought it was garbage and if someone wants it they only have to pay the postage and I will give it to them t.i like all forms of cycling and will happily sit there watching a dull flat boring road race all afternoon or anything else on two wheels but couldn’t find any entertainment in that book.

Sorry Binners but Chris’s Hoys book was the most boring cycling book I have ever read.I eventually put it down before finishing it.

it sounds like you need to buy a winter bike and keep the cross bike you have.If you say the cross bike is perfect then changing it for a bike that is both winter and a racing cross bike you are going to lose to much when it comes to racing.

Yes they will be comfier on rougher roads thats why bigger volume tires get used in the classics.i used to ride 25m GP four seasons in the winter in England and really liked them even did L’Eroica on them. Will probably get some Pave’s for next winter. Can’t say i noticed a massive reduction in speed either

Planet X are good value and you get a half price retul bike fit if you buy a bike.most of those bikes reccomended come with aksium wheels which are heavy and if you are fit like you say will feel sluggish. That said the sensa looks wise is probably the nicest which is obviously the most important thing

the scaffolding will not affect the signal,if you have put the dish up a satellite installer won’t want much to come and point it for you and save you the frustration

if it was upto me i would be in economy but the wife is insisting and she is paying as she is the main breadwinner.we went two years ago and were in the front row of economy cramped up while the next row in front the otherside of an open curtain were being served the cheese board with port whilst clearly not cramped as they were virtually lying down so the decision was made!the tickets are 1600 euros each by the way or 570 for the economy

the flight is an american airlines, iberia,BA flight OR there is a united airlines, lufthansa, continental air canada one.the flight code for that is UA so i presume its a united airlines plane both around the same price which would give the best service?

Without a sat finder or equivalent instrument you will have a hard time finding and fine tuning a foreign satellite signal.I live in Italy and install dishes for foreign customers.to get a general direction, elevation and LNB skew use http://www.dishpointer.com. i am sure people will say they just pointed theirs and got the signal but if you want a good signal that doesn’t dissapear at the first sign or rain it need to be fine tuned with an instrument also if you live up north you made a decent size dish not a small sky dish. i have never tried to pick up this satellite so am not to sure on dish sizes.

i am in a similar disituation i quit smoking 12 years ago and most of my life revolves around situations where drink is involved.sounds like you have just slipped into a habit like anything else(well thats what i have convinced myself)the only time i didn’t have a drink at night was when i was feeling ill.anyhow i stopped last friday night so have done a week now and am off to a BBQ tomorrow which will test my nerve.have no intention of giving up but am trying to abstain for a while and even after a week i do feel a difference and i am sleeping better.give it a go whats the worst that could happen

12kw is loads, i don’t think they use electric showers in france do they? it will either come off your combi boiler or direct from your water heater which will be somewhere between 1400 and 1700 watts. the only thing would be the electric underfloor heating if you go with it that could use a bit so i would ask a local electrician for what that would use under normal conditions.modern installations are well divided in france and the chances of you using 12kw in one go are very slim.here in italy between 3kw and 6kw is what you are given after that its three phase and the price goes through the roof.

this place was fantastic, good burgers with proper chips and really good beer.it was half price beer on tuesday afternoons. its on haight and ashbury and at the entrance to golden gate park which is well worth exploring.the best food we had on our trip was in some grotty cafe in chinatown where you didn’t even get a plate, awesome dim sum.

38/46 13/29 and the 29 does get used.Chrisheath said it is quicker to run rather than use lower than 38/25 i disagree if you can stay on the bike you loose less time dismounting and remounting you dont risk clogging up shoes and pedals and i reckon your heart rate stays a bit lower.whenever you watch the pros they ride everything they can and the bits they don’t aren’t rideable i.e. to steep
