Light plenty powerfull enough thanks my eyes the problem as I said.the trees in the “Forrest” are well maintained and regularly chopped down for firewood by the local authority so that’s not a problem.i am a well balanced individual who just wants an indication of where to turn with small circular mark that I can see at night.

This might sound a bit harsh, but it sounds to me like part of you would rather be in a relationship where someone treats you like shit, than be on your own. Seems fairly common.

    This.
Stay put, accept being treated like shite and that she’s probably shagging someone else, post on here every couple of months about how you’re sick of being treated like this and then make excuses for doing nothing about it.
Is that what you wanted to hear?

thats sound about right,i have friends who i meet up with who still complain about the same crap there were complaining about 10 years ago.it’s never easy but something needs to change and your mates will only listen to it for so long before they ignore you

Join the local club, you will no doubt be helped to get your license, given a club kit, find some people to go race with and also be doing your bit for local cycling.I have lived and raced here in italy for nine years now and joining the local club was the first thing i did.

Stainless can go in the dishwasher without tarnishing. You can go above the valve a bit if you need more coffee no problems.Keep the rubber ring clean so it creates a good seal.Decent coffee in a tupperware in the fridge keeps fresh for a couple of weeks,if you need to keep it longer put it in the freezer.Always fill the code basket unto the top.Medium heat, turn off when it stops gurgling.

After tasting peoples fancy coffee machines unless they know what they are doing and have a really good machine you can’t go wrong with a Moka.

I have had a pair of amercian Classic tubeless now for a year I have raced XC on them and been up and down some big mountains without any problems 1600g so pretty light.they do a lighter set but I would leave them alone as it’s the same wheel with a super light rim which is prone to denting.hope this helps

It’s not easy being an electrcian over 40,i have been an electrician for 26 years and physically find it hard now at 43.If you can find another career less demanding i would go for that unless you only need to work part time.

thanks for the reply slowoldgit.I don’t feel any loyalty to them even after 20 years they are a bank and unfortunately aren’t on our side. The bank manager knows me but the credit card company has nothing to do with the branch if i have my facts right.I just want to know what i have to do to fulfill the criteria for the card.

I prefer Malaucene to Bedouin,at least you get a few easier sections to have a rest.Ok its steeper but Bedouin in the forest is 10km at 10% with one small switchback.I have done it maybe 6 times in total from all 3 sides and its never easy. The first time i rode it i had 39/25 as my smallest gear and for the last 1.5km from the memorial to the top i couldn’t feel my legs, not that they were hurting i just couldn’t feel them they had gone numb!!All good fun.

Bumped into a lot of big names but actually rode and talked with,Cadel Evans and Nicholas Roche seperatley.Roche passed me on a climb and we got talking I told him to keep going if I was interfering with his training so he rode upto the top of the climb then came back down and rode up with me at my pace.

I remember seeing his name in a few places but the one under the bridge was the one i saw most.I never saw that he had killed himself or had i any clue who he was.We always rode that trail down by the river on our way to do the rake/peel tower but seem to remember it got pretty crappy so we gave up.I will be back in the valley this summer on my new 29er with fox fork and tubeless wheels a far cry from what we rode then when you only needed a bobcap for protection.Great post.

Old boot and shoe awesome,i presume the accomodation is what used to be the nightclub upstairs.I first went in there nearly thirty years ago as a young teenager, passing my PE teacher who was propping up the bar downstairs. As big and daft says Ramsbottom is your best bet if you want to go out at night as it has a few good restaurants and decent bars.
