Copaslip it is, have a massive tub from when I did the car’s brakes. Overestimated the amount needed.

Copaslip will depend on what’s already on the BB or copaslip regardless?

Have always greased BBs in the past, the thread lock was throwing me.

I stuck the vigilante on the back and popped a chunky monkey on the front of my V2 bossnut. No complaints in the peaks.

Don’t park in Sainsbury’s or the to maxx side, both limited to 3hrs with anpr fines. There are the city run e-bikes that can be pocjed up/left at the royal.

I bought a cheap £19 one from euro car parts for the Audi and Citroen. It will only read and reset codes that are common across all makes and models. Generally cover engine and fuel fault codes.

Ended up buying a £5 kkl cable off eBay and downloading vcds lite (vag specific). There may be a freeware equivalent for yours.

Picked up a Sora equipped allez in 58 on friday, came with a pair of little used aksium wheels with conti GP 4000 S2 tyres with the molding blobs still on for £250.

Frustrating part is the drive side pedal will not come out. Have rounded off a crappy Allen key, all my proper tools are still at the ex-wife’s house. No sockets no breaker bar, going to drop the crank at the motorbike mechanic this afternoon. Briefly considered Halfords but decided I didn’t want things making worse and can’t afford road shoes.

Thanks though for the advice and offers.

Looking at 56 – 58 I’m 5 11″, seems to be a small increase in price that separates knackered wrecks from the hardly used.

Previously have had the Shimano 205 wheel set on a Trek 1000sl. Specialized are top at the moment, sheer volume keeps prices low.

Got the titan as well, didn’t get all the bits sadly just a couple and a chisel. It did come with a chuck adapter for normal bits though.

I still have a pair of mint sauce socks in the drawer and a top cap unopened in my bike bits box. A book of mint sauce would be a thing of joy.

Use nikwax visor clear on my motorbike but not sure if it’s still available. Looks like milk and smells of silicone sealant.

I’ve bought some Tesa tape off ebay to convert my i25’s to tubeless – think it’s 20mm I got, couldn’t find 30mm at anything reasonable. Was thinking of just taping the spoke-holes in the well but I do have enough tape to put a couple of runs to fill the entire rim bed if needed.

Do it. local hilly parks are good as the grass is nice and flat, if we ever get snow in the midlands there’s a steep golf course in one of the parks that is always popular with the sledgers.

As above, you’ll find that your board pulls the snow up. It’s do-able but not great, tufts of grass will their presence felt. Are you linking turns yet? heel/toe sliding and falling leaf should be fine.

I’ve got a pair of DMR V8s on my V2, the stock pedals on the Bossnut aren’t the greatest and I have V8s on another bike so know I get on with them. Plenty of decent cheap flat pedals around though.

Running an Enduro Guard standard size on the front and that’s with a 2.4 Chunky Monkey. Tight but there’s no rubbing.

My old Turbos were brought of retirement (wheeled variety) a couple of years ago, the plastic just kept splitting. replaced them with a pair of vapours off e-bay that were ice skates.

Missions are popular with the in-line peeps but not sure if they’re also an ice skate. Second hand seems the way to go, my vapours were unused ad £23 inc postage.

Does the cable end-stop go into the seatpost with a grub screw in the lever?
If so I got one of these for my RSP Plummet bonty lever

Just returned mine to Go Outdoors this morning, fitted it to the bike did a couple of down/up checks and got a massive score in the stanchion. Haven’t even ridden on it so not grit or debris.

Go Outdoors were great and exchanged it straight away, only cost me £80 with some discount so can’t complain. It was smooth and responsive when fitted with a fraction of side to side play but nothing noticeable.

Possibly a tee-nut? There may be something similar that holds the ratchets onto a snowboard binding.

All of the above – don’t know if it’s your sort of thing but the marvel stuff has been good Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. Stranger things – not sure it’s mentioned before but stranger things. Also stranger things.

I’m in the same boat and looking at the v2 Bossnut through cycle to work but wondering if the difference is worth it. Got an old Club Roost enduro frame with some nice bits hanging off it but the obsolescence is a concern, that and we all like shiny new stuff.

    Been told I can’t have 2 bikes.

3 months after my first was born (11 years ago) it was obvious I wasn’t going to get to the gym again. As others have said – running, very little prep needed, low cost as we’ve all got shorts and a t-shirt but worth investing in decent shoes. Don’t have to drive anywhere as it’s straight out your front door.

Got a cheap kettlebell and follow the HASfit workouts on YouTube, also tried Insanity but too long at an 1h 30m so now do T25 – same thing but in 25mins and only need a rug sized area.

Also bought the eten dropper from moosbikes/ebay took about a week to arrive, surprisingly well made for the money. Not remote though, lever under the seat, could only find tmars droppers with a remote for 27.2. Didn’t fancy the spring loaded slightly questionable build quality of the tmars.

I bought a KS e-ten off eBay, lever under the seat rather than remote. I think it was £55.00 Inc delivery from moos bike shop in Germany. Only 100mm drop but really smooth hydraulics. Find the item no. 201865036182 still selling them.
