Seriously considering a ps4 and vr headset after playing resident evil 7 on a mates.

Interested to hear more about the x wing stuff on ps4. Is it a battle front type of thing.

No man’s sky is also great on the vr headset and with the hand things as opposed to a normal controller is something else entirely.

Vcds lite as a free download and a cheap blue kkl USB to obd cable off eBay. Won’t give the depth of interrogation for some stuff but its a cheap way to start.

I use jefit for recording gym stuff, weights and cardio. It’s free but there is a paid for premium option. It’s quite simple but very effective.

A pair of edible undies when I was about 16. From my gran.

Her mental health was in decline at that point, I hope.

    Good news/bad news
It doesn’t leak but it did sound like I washing nuts and bolts. Right up until the point it blew the electrics.

    Second-hand white goods – I never learn.

Have enlarged the existing cut on the side panel next to the wall, removed the remnants of the old hose pushed the new one on the spigot with a bit of fairy liquid and running a quick wash.

Do the the spigots come with two sizes of thread on them? Can only get the hose on a couple of cm.

    Flooded kitchen update to follow….

Had to cut through the plastic part of the hose so thinking these and a smear of silicone might work.

    https://www.diy.com/departments/plumbsure-rubber-outlet-hose-end-pack-of-2/178394_BQ.prd?gclsrc=aw.ds&ds_rl=1272379&ds_rl=1272409&gclid=CjwKCAiAis3vBRBdEiwAHXB29DJGvw53MiAkZZ8TNPg97OgLOI16P3fiPDMMMM5uD5OK7F1fmw3P1xoC40sQAvD_BwE

With a connector between as posted above. Not sure on the outlet size, but I need something that fits the spiral part of the hard plastic hose.

Or it’s out with the jigsaw.

There’s a slot cut in the side panel for the hose. It looks as if the machine was plumbed in then the kitchen units fitted. A right pain. I’m thinking I might enlarge the slot at the side first. Five minute job becomes a proper messy noisy pain.

Cheers all. Plenty to think about, listen for creaking on the test drive, would the cam chain sound rattly if the tensioner is failing?

Have heard of issues with damp getting trapped and rotting the joists with the spray insulation. Sheets of Kings pan celotex stuff with an air gap possibly? Cheaper and much cleaner.

Have had similar caused by a failed rear window seal and in another car the rear washer fluid hose had split dumping fluid in the boot.

I’ve got a specialized one, looped a zip tie through the hole. Realise I’m missing the point somewhat but I haven’t been able to bring myself to remove the cable and thread it through. Nice clamp.

Those of you that have had success with tesa tape, did it sit across rather than in the well a bit like a drum skin? Then tube and tyre overnight forced it into the well? Really stretched it when fitting and used a hair dryer after leaving both in a conservatory this summer. May give it another go when the gorilla tape needs replacing.

Gorilla tape was really easy to fit though. Layer of electrical tape underneath as well.

Tried tesa tape on wtb rims but it wouldn’t reach the bottom of the well lbs used orange seal tape which held but looked very badly done. I fitted a non TCS wtb tyre cos I’m an idiot and it all peeled off when I swapped tyres. Gave up and used gorilla tape with no issues. I haven’t taken the tyre off so this may change when I have to.

Would the chainring need shimming or are they machined with the offset needed for the correct chain line?

Any requirement for new chainring bolts either longer or sorter?

Using Jefit. Plenty of routines to download or make your own. Can be clunky but very good for tracking weight and reps.

X11 and x12 out of the picture owing to costs. Absolute black chainrings OK? £20 seems a good price on crc.

New chain needed owing to increased number of teeth or are they nw specific?

Might stick with 2×10 if 1×10 is a struggle in the Peak or would 32f 40r be enough or maybe 42r?
    Cheers

Have a couple of on one helmets including the enduro. No complaints with fit or comfort, have a long oval head and normally struggle to find a good fit.

Not tested it yet so can’t say on that front.

Is that the twisty up and down section by the golf course? Had you unweighted the bike on the crest of a hill whilst braking? Did the same in my micra a few years ago, no warning just slid.

Highly recommend the Jefit tracking app for gym stuff. Have really progressed using it, saves a lot of buggering around with pen and paper.

Been asthmatic since childhood, once the doc has got your plan sorted there’s nothing to prevent you from doing what you want. Just remember to take your inhaler with you, becomes a habit after a while.

Didn’t have a spinhaler but had a rotahaler with the capsules. Remember thinking I’d somehow inhaled a capsule, turned out to be a baby tooth that picked that moment to exit my gum.

+1 for the autoglym kit in halfords. Took a while and to recharge the drill between lights but it worked really well. Had read about the potential uv issue but didn’t get it with the A3 lenses and it’s not any worse than the horrific fogging. Made a huge difference driving at night.

Tooth paste did bugger all. Lenses felt very rough.

Got mine fitted yesterday and took the air cap off. Kept extending them till I got a slurping sound and they seem to be OK. There’s still around 10mm of travel that stays down but that would appear to be standard.

Problem solved had a pair of much shorter shimano bolts in my tool box. They’re fully threaded but can’t see it being a problem.

Davros good to hear its sorted. I messed up fitting the sfn so it’s off to the lbs to get a replacement fitted. Hopefully getting it reassembled tonight then going to take the top cap off.

Mine is staying sucked down when the positive chamber is pressurised. From reading the fork should be fully extended when off the ground or unweighted with it compressing to the sag point when weighted. The little dimple inside the stanchion gets blocked with grease so the Chambers don’t equalise and it stays down. *

Hoping to finish fitting it tonight and report back.

    * I may have misunderstood and be talking nonsense.

As others have found mine is the old style solo air shaft. Replaced it with a 140mm debonair shaft from tft.

Forks sucked down when I let the air out and are still sucking down after the debonair upgrade. Going to try and clear the port by yanking the forks around before stripping them. Joy.

Spoken to the mortgage advisor who has been liaising with the surveyors. Their recommendation is to fell the tree and that’s what the bank are pushing for. Given the tpo and the vendor’s total lack of interest in a resolution I’ve had to pull out of the sale. So far have only lost the cost of the initial survey.

We got a £40 next base one from halfords. Useful when someone drove into the back of us in stationary traffic. Not sure we could have driven defensively around that one.
