Have been looking at going 1×11 today. The price of cassettes, mechs and shifters has put that on hold.

As it looks like the asbestos disaster has been skirted. What would be a sensible approach to storage? Vertical battens on the gable ends to screw shelf brackets to?
Loft legs to create strategically located storage platforms?

We also had gaviscon prescribed for ours. Things like keeping them more upright during and after feeding helped

The boiler is fixed to the block work of the gable end.

Think I’m getting on for 2 weeks post covid. Mentally feeling back to normal but still get tired very frequently throughout the day. Breathing isn’t great still, feels like a constant mild asthma attack.

Have been up for a look around, took an old carpet beater a couple fans to help.

There are rolls of pink fibre glass sheets between the joists with the loosefill sat on top. It’s granular of varying sizes and yellow grey mix of colours. There’s also an installation certificate dated 1997 stapled to the truss, warmcel cellulose fibre.
    Looks like it’s not asbestos.

The images I’ve seen of Cellulose loose fill are the same. Thank god.

From memory it’s the more yellow fibre glass looking stuff. Have seen test kits that can be sent to labs for analysis. Will have a close but not too close look with mask and gloves later.

I will have to investigate the joists and trusses, will take some measurements as well. The internal upstairs walls look and sound like stud walls, nothing solid so assuming the joists span the length of the house which doesn’t bode well.

There is insulation up there that’s looks like dust rather the fibreglass rolls. Does this like sound asbestos?
I feel a need to Google this.

It’s not the leaving the Web cam on but who are the kinds of people that have to knock one out during work?

If you’re still in the office and a meeting has finished would they be out the meeting room making a beeline for the hand lotion.

Had my results, both myself and child #2 have tested positive. Child #1 and ex went for testing earlier this evening.

Edit: spewing on the dashboard was from gagging on the swab.

Awaiting test results from yesterday. Also nearly spewed over the dashboard, not listed as a symptom though.

Had a cough and aches but no temp. Lost smell and taste weds afternoon. Isolating and wfh at present. Test centre was alarmingly busy. Wonder what percentage of vehicles had sick in the foot wells?

Stick a normal post in, would you really need a dropper when towing a child?

Felt it dipped a bit after season 2 but it does pick up again and goes off in a different direction. We’ll worth sticking with.

Bit of a spot the UK talent, GoT, Gotham to name a few.

I’m with green network energy, great so far but…

…they’re an Italian company. Anybody have an idea what will happen with EU owned providers come January?

Picked up some gloves and trousers for both boys. Trousers for boy 1 are far too big. Back to giltbrook to exchange for a smaller pair tomorrow.

Had a 1.9d non turbo xantia and ir was woefully slow and not very economical either.

At that mileage you may be looking at a new clutch in the near future. The cost of a dmf for a diesel can render it worthless. I’m regretting not buying a petrol version of my civic.

    Paving slabs.

Or laminate over some of that underlay stuff. Rubber matting for under the turbo.

I think I also have this. Stinks a bit like fox poo, really strong since applying weed killer. There were a number of pinky red long stemmed flowers with thick roots.

Wife and I separated two years ago in June. I found and still do that going to the gym really helps. Had a few counselling sessions alpine similar issues to yourself and they really helped.

Living on my own with my kids coming over at weekends. Would probably drink if it wasn’t for the gym acting as an outlet. The fact you’re dating is impressive I can’t face the idea of that, fills me with fear. Can only say things will get better, stick with the counselling. It helps.

Not new build 1910s terrace. Have suggested Mr muscle left over night. My other idea of a drinking straw was not well received.

I had an old bangernomics A3 that made a horrendous rattling sound. Bit like ball bearings in a tin, was the cat breaking down. Also blowing wher it joined the downpipe, fell off one day. Had it replaced and it was a very different car.

Sounds like yours could be a similar issue. Knackered exhausts cause all sorts of performance problems and poor gas flow might account for the glow. Collapsed cat blocking the gasses in making the heat build up.

It doesn’t seem to be affected by the cold making it a tough call. Missed out on Coe this year by a couple of days but have bought a new board (bataleon fun kink). Both kids are learning to ride but expect things to be fridge and dry slope for the foreseeable.

Been separated just over two years, I can’t see myself ever wanting to date, this thread has confirmed it’s the right choice for me.

    Quite frankly it’s all terrifying.

Had a belling that would get through fan and grill elements every couple of years. A couple of times you could see the elements had split just taking the fan cover off. An easy fix as elements are meant to be replaceable.

Have you been able to have a look?
As others have said espares for parts, no doubt your oven will be shared across a large number of brands.
