I get most of my stuff delivered to work then stealth it home to the shed.

In 5 years its only been visited once and that produced an exclamation to do with the tidiness of the shed compared to the house …

    Great cars.

Used to hire them all the time when EasyCar existed and went everywhere in them. Fun little turbo in a small car made it feel faster than it was and handling, etc were all good.

Motorways were fine too until the limiter cut in when overtaking at 83mph…

And theres more space for the driver and passenger than in the front of an E-Class merc (a sales pitch when they were new)

    Cor… , theres some right trouts ‘ere … 🙂

Hardtails should have stance and a poise full of attitude.

These all look odd/ wrong to me.

Maybe its the light … 😕

Enjoyed my iPhone 3GS for a couple of years – it was great as first foray into smartphones.

Although hated iTunes and little crappy screen size but rest ok.

Now swapped for a galaxy S2 in the summer which i’m over the moon with, although had a go on a mates Desire S at the weekend and thats a lovely phone too.

Would prob get that if had choice again.

The COOKER does get an ace review – just the kind of stuff I wanted to hear about a 29er …

    But its mingin IMO.

The best looking one is the singlespeed version.

HOTPOT – thats a good idea I’m going to try.

Maybe followed by some huge fruit filled bruiser the following week.

I get hungry just looking at it – empty … 😆

Was a good course and suprisingly, after all the recent rain, it ran well.

Started suffering on 3rd lap and thought that was it, but just scraped inside 2 hrs so had to do a 4th …

Will be back after a bit of training !

Native hedging is great and cheap at this time of year.

Personal pref would incl. hawthorn and maybe a sloe bush or two – Damsons as well.

Keep up your positivity, be strong and best of luck.

“Go to and give it what for..!

And, remember, in those dark moments when you feel you can’t share with those around you, come back here. Everyone will be pleased to hear from you and do what they can to help.”

And some more of the above too – it helps ……..

Scraping doggie poop from tyres, downtube and fork bridge after most rides this summer.

Never had it so bad – maybe lack of rain to wash dissolve them is to blame …………

    Filthy.

Read something about 50/50 mix with Damsons. Also, a mate cracks the seeds in some of the sloes as it imparts some nuttiness to the drink apparently.

First time for me as well this year so will be experimenting.

^^^ Agreed – Nicely run event and lovely course.

Second time I’ve done it and preferred this years anti-clockwise route.

Nice and fast until the rain hit but I got to the sports centre just before the big shower came down – 4hrs 11 all in.

Will be back for it again next year.

Am looking to get a CX bike myself.

Do you think the 2012 models will have a load of disc brake options as per the UCI ruling in 2010 ?

So far it seems to be only Boardman and a couple of Focus models ?

    Reckon its worth waiting …

    Thats good going.

    What were you on ?

I saw a Pompy, Roadrat and a couple of others running singlespeedI can’t remember.

I’ve a singlspeed Pompy as well and when following this chap yesterday was thinking how I’d attack the climbs rather than drop a gear and pace it.

And whilst i was doing that thinking I lost him …………

    How did everyone do ?

I managed the 132km in 7.21hrs actual riding time according to comp, but 7.40 overall from start to finish by watch.

Seemed to stick with same group of people once we’d sorted some navigation errors at the 10 mile mark !

Great route with some nice scenery and fast singletrack.

Bakes – sorry, thought the email would be automatically added to profile when I signed up – hope you found a place.

    FREE ENTRY AVAILABLE

My mate can’t do this anymore and I’ve run out of time trying to persuade him otherwise …

SO, theres an entry going spare should anyone want it.

Its for the 132km route option and its free.

Email me and I’ll send you his registration email.

First come first served, etc …

Really looking forward to this and just hoping those dark clouds blow over !
