I’ve been looking to do a taxy ride in that for a while and now I know the money will be going to getting it flying I’m even more determined.

Do it in a jar, it’s nasty for the environment so best kept contained, the gunk settles out so you can decant to a fresh jam jar and keep using it indefinately.

Ta – learnt something simple I didn’t know ….

Have been doing it in a tray and it was a right mucky mess and needed throwing away each time.

Last time I did it I put 1tbsp of sugar in each 1 ltr bottle when bottling up – plastic tonic types.

Bottled up when fermentation had virtually stopped – didn’t kill off yeast.

3 months later they opened with some fizz and were noticeably more medium.

Depends how bad you feel.

I ride every day (commute) and don’t stop for anything really, especially chesty ones. If I’m feeling ropey I just rein it in a bit.

I find getting breathless helps clear out the crap and usually feel better for it.

Before I commuted I’d have a chesty cold once a year that last a fortnight or so, and I’d take it easy to accommodate it.

Not had a bad one in 5 years and I don’t think its coincidence.

Swollen glands, etc are a different though I’ve heard. Sign of proper impending grogginess so maybe best take it easy when that happens.
