Try drying it out first without switching on.

Put it in airing cupboard in a bag of rice for a week before trying to switch on.

Weber gas – has sat outside for the last ten years and apart from some mild fading is as good as day we bought it.

    Only scrub iron grill occasionally.

    Recommend it.

    I’ve cover through BC.

It was all quite amicable really and we swapped details.

He was queuing and then decided to try and squeeze past traffic queuing to go right.

I was on the floor before I knew it.

Was just reading Mikes blog on setting up his bike …….

“On the bars I have a Garmin 705 which has done the Divide before as well as a lap of the planet, without any issues…”

What a thing to be able to say !

It is pretty and a lovely thing.

There, I’ve said it now ….

(Should know what it rides like within the fortnight too !)

    Thanks for advice.

Made some progress chatting with neighbours and they’re understanding.

    Its still complicated though !

I think you are responsible for the pipe while its on your land – or maybe just after the boundary, if the leak occured on yr neighbours land, then it is their problem.

This was the case when everyone used it but I’m at the end and the two in the middle don’t need it any more – are they still responsible ?

Apparently its £1.5-2 as it involves a road closure. then theres the cost of running full length of house, tiled pathway, tiled kitchen, general old house routing and making good.

I’m pretty sure you’re only responsible for the supply up to your boundary as well, so anything else will then be someone else’s problem.

This is the issue. The shared pipe starts at the boundary and crosses the four gardens.

If I say fix pipe yourself and theres a problem down the line I could liable so something better is needed, but as mentioned, this was all fine before they started so I really don’t want to have to pay for something that was out of my control.

SO **** TIRED OF THESE THREADS

    I agree …

Trek 69er, the bike was FAR faster forwards than backwards, indicating the 29er wheel was much faster.

No I don’t … theres mileage in them still …

I spent a lot of my childhood wondering what a dance settee was and where to could get one
    As in –
“Dance, dance wherever you may be
For I am the lord of the dance settee”

    I never thought I’d hear someone say that … ! 😀

Me too – wondered all the way through school …

Luton is unfortunately a dump, theres no other way to describe it.

however theres nice towns surrounding as mentioned.

    Another for Hitchin … 🙂

Its 10 miles East and a nice town.

Theres some good riding as well between the two on top of the other places mentioned.

The commute between Hitchin and Luton would be nice both off and on road.

Off road would be Icknield way door to door !

The hubs on my Fulcrum red metals are virtually silent.

Think they were for £200 for a pair of 29ers so ok for budget.
