As in leave a spare set in the car when visiting trail centres. I had to go home after 20 minutes yesterday whereas I could have continued if I had a spare set.

One other question – I have the option of a hardtail or FS (Orange Crush and Orange Five). Which would be the best option over the distance?

I must add that I did do 28 flatish urban miles on the Crush a week ago and my arse was pretty saw. Can this be down to my saddle (SDG Bel Air)?

I waited at least a good 8 weeks for mine but most of that was due to a shortage of RP23’s.
Orange used all of theirs on the Black/Gold run then a new batch from Fox didnt pass the quality control, hence the delay.

I’m also 5″10 and have tried both the 16″ and 18″ on a demo day.

The 16 was great to chuck around but felt that little bit cramped whist the 18 did feel a little big.

I’ve got myself a 17″ and it feels perfectly proportioned. I’m surprised it took Orange as long as it has to release the 17″ as its definately the best looking geometry wise.

I fancied a few loops of my local trail whilst on my days off but couldnt bring myself to face the muddy, sloppy ground.

Maybe next week……….

White’s level is open and as far as I’m aware, Skyline is open. They are doing alot of work on Y Wal at the moment but it is still open with a diversion in place.

Not too sure about Penhydd.

Great video! I think Guy is noramlly given his bikes by Hope – his most recent being the Apple Green Alpine 160?

I’d imagine he was given the bike – it’s only going to give Orange good publicity (not that they need it).
