Good suggestion.. I’ll look into that.

We live outside Sheffield in a quaint village which forms Rotherham Metropolitan Borough. Rotherham being not so quaint.

Loved it when I went. I suppose you get out what you put in as far as a stag do is concerned.

Meeting at Ladybower Inn at 9 am. I’m not 100% on the route as only done it a couple of times. Apparently 22ish miles.

I did see a jacket for £150 in the LBS…..no chance!!! I’d say £100 would be my absolute limit for a jacket! So far the Endura stuff seems to work for me. I do have some Decathlon bib shorts which are OK…and suprisingly my Aldi winter leggings are awesome. Plus I’m not scared of ripping then on one of my many falls.

Half the problem with finding stuff is I’m relatively tall and not built like a model..I need a medium that’s the same arm length and body length as a large.

If you were a brand whore you’d be buying Rapha/Gore etc, to go with your SuperDry ‘wardrobe’…

I own one superdry shirt £40! I wear it everytime I go out. I’m getting my moneys worth out of it. I do draw the line at spending anymore than £20 on a tshirt.

Learn some flamenco dancing, you’ll have perfected it by the time you’ve got the guts to door knob her. By then she’ll have probably door knobbed all your mates.

Feed her some Rohip whilst watching Les Mis and go out for a bike ride!

turns out I can’t write anything to do with smashing any rear doors in. With out it being changed by the mods.

There are some A4 posters about making the area better for mountain biking walking etc at both gates. What exactly does recreational route mean anyway.

Just found the instructions below online, I’m not sure how much they relate to my headset seen as thought it was mentioned to be old.

I have no problem with the Top nut or cap. I now know that the ballbearings need to have the ball tops facing the top and bottom cups (which are already installed)

I believe 3rd one in top line in my pic above is the “COVE”
The 2nd one in on the top line is the “CONE”
4th one in on the bottom is “top cap”

After that I’ve lost it from my picture so need to take a look again when I get in. Can anyone figure it out just from my pic (above) and the PDF (below)

Hi all thanks, for the info. I’m at work at the minute so won’t be able to sort anything till I get home but would it be possible for someone to tell me what is what from the new picture. Or show me an exploded diagram of that particualr headset (AHEADSET off a ’98 GT Tequesta with Manito SX forks)

Cheers i’ll look into that tomorrow. The headset is old but worked fine, im building my old gt into a commuter. The thing i noticed is the last piece (crown race) doesnt sit on the fork. Unless ive done it wrong

    er… you need a new headset…

thanks Reggie but could you explain why?

Its loppy? It’s the wrong type of fork for that headset? It’s the wrong size? Parts missing??

Thanks for relieving my boredom. I was never sure on wether to treat padded lycra shorts as “officiaL” underwear.

I once tried with nylon boxers and normal shorts and did very nearly lose a bollock.

The padding helps when “im getting nailed”…..ehem..by the saddle

so you’ll need to budget for the sprocket, fitting kit, shifter and wheel build on top of the £50 for the hub…. so still probably over £100 unless you can find the bits second hand.

yes, I will need to budget for the above. I’d looked at some 8 speed Alfine but I guess that’s top gear. I’m not familiar with this kind of thing. So don’t really know whats available.

I’m not sure I could get away with a 1×3 but then again I havent tried. I’m after a full wheel if poss.
