Cheers all this has definitely given me food for thought. The only thing I have ever had to repay as such is my mortgage. It’s easy to assume that you’ll have a job etc and be able to pay but it would be foolish to. I think a compromise has to be to put down a quarter of the cost as a deposit to bring down monthly payments to a reasonable level. Or save and buy second hand, I could be waiting a while.

I’d see the payments as what would be paid on gym membership. Plus commuting on the rat bike will help.

I currently only ride a hardtail as the thought of shelling out all that money on a full suss scares me a little. As well as the maintenance…as im lazy.

My Mmmmbop does what i need, I’m not skilled enough to say i warrant moving up to a full suss. I have been on one and tackled a feature that i couldn’t bring myself to originally do on the hardtail but then I got the confidence to do it, and it wasn’t all that bad.

The comfort may be nice as rocky stuff kills my legs!! but paying more for a bit of extra comfort means i’d be having to skimp on other things…..like meals!

I may lay awake all night wondering if you will, or If you won’t. On the flip side you may not necessarily worry but you may think about posting as oppose to not posting. If you don’t I may worry that you have been snatched by some troll or such like……..

My neighbour has her own trolley which is on lease from Morrisons, that’s weird and my other neighbour has a dog that has its walks in the back garden. I am perfectly normal.

Here we go, the reply from the guardians of the woods. Ah well you can only ask.

I am sorry that I am unable to help you at the moment. I appreciate that the woods are lovely and you would enjoy cycling there. Unfortunately there are various types of cyclists and some would be very respectful of their surroundings, but there are a lot of youths on bikes who cause havoc, as we have experienced over the years. I am unable to let in one group without opening the door to all the others. From time to time the police bikers go in and apprehend any cyclists they find. It is a case that the nuisance element spoil it for the rest.

I would ride it if walkers hadn’t blocked all the paths with logs.
Perfect excuse to learn how to bunny hop properly

I need every excuse to bunnyhop. I’m not much good uphill though!

So basically asking for permission is pointless. Time to start digging at 2am when nobodies around.

maybe a respect your views would be better than this reply???

Thank you for your reply. I value that this is private woodland hence my interest in writing to you. I appreciate that certain people can and will cause damage to the natural woodland and the health and safety aspects with walkers and cycles sharing the same paths. ****** has some great scenery as it is part of a valley that holds some valuable wildlife which is what makes it such a special piece of woodland.

Typically mountain biking is a sport where people take in their surroundings and maintain the trails they ride. Unfortunately there will always be people who do not respect this as is the same with walkers. Would there be a chance of meeting to discuss the merits of a trail, with an agreement that we ride at our own risk/ away from main walking tracks? I am part of a local riding group who would like to open our options for riding and feel ****** is the perfect spot, however we would not dare tread without consultation with yourselves. I completely understand if this is still a “no” but hope you don’t mind me asking.

I was on citalopram for a fair while and changed over to fluoxetine after going private. All I know is that when I came of it I Wasn’t ready. Hence having a bash on fluoxetine. I did go up to 80mg but felt so tired and lethargic and am now out of choice down to 40. I feel much better. CBT did help me a little as well but unfortunately I was a bit stubborn with it. Medication has helped loads even though sometimes I can have bad days. Bit of a ramble but I’m typing on the ipad which makes me marry.
