It’s owned by rotherham council. A group called canklow riders were in talks last year with the council to sort something out. They generally turned a blind eye to trails but when someone stuck a ladder drop in they pulled it down. Yes pool there was an unofficial race last year, can’t see it going ahead again though.

1/4 turn gopro mount off ebay and one m4 screw (cut down) is all you need to convert a solarstorm x2 to fit the gopro buckles.

I’m sure you can route the stealth out of the bottom of the seatpost.

Did you enjoy the sip of my beer, Chris?

Whilst campaigning have a grumble at the travesty at the top of Wlt. That path used to be fun!

I’ll attempt to make the next one.

And we’ve all got over the fear of our first gap. Built it back up to a table and then removed dirt from the middle as we got more confident. Been able to do it three days running now!

Cheers Jedi, I might have to book in at some point when cash flow has resumed.

In the meantime I’ll just keep practicing…not sure about hitting it with the hardtail tonight though.

Cheers, you’re right about the being stood up… I’m all on just getting across to be honest so struggling to focus on pushing the lip. I know the technique its the little imp in my mind that keeps pulling the brake before take off.

I was wondering if people had a trick for putting this at bay…filling the gap with broken glass might help.

I managed it yesterday whats wrong today?

I loved the ultimate route, managed some climbs I’d failed at before and failed some id done before. Well chuffed at getting up the climb which had the stream at the bottom…can’t remember it’s name! I just know loads walked it.

    broken road

Yeah the tumble at the bottom of potatoe alley was Darren Birch..he’s happy with the outcome as he didn’t have to go straight into a night shift. He had just come off nights to do this. No broken bones as far as I know, just bruised.

Good day out and the longest MTB ride I’ve done.

Pink is the least of its worries….the fact its a mismatch of campag components isn’t helping.

Next question do i need a campag specific chain?

On top of that Campag 9 speed has two possible cable pull ratios, depending on when it was made apparently, so are you sure the mech is speaking the same dialect as the shifter?

No idea! This really is complicated.

the cassette is definitely campag. I’m annoyed as just bought some Pikes for the fun bike. Now i’ve got this to sort out.. I wish id never brought it home from the father in laws.

Basically it has worked just badly in the past. so I figured a new 9 speed cassette would help

    OK

Campag Mirage 9 speed rear mech.

Campag Centaur 10 speed Front Triple

Campag Mirage Front mech…no speed indicated
