I’ve got the driveless version ie non cd player, as I didn’t see the point as I was connecting to my iPod. It’s brilliant, Bluetooth to my phone steering wheel controls work with it, cheap little interface cable, full connectivity, clear phonecalls brilliant.

There is a group out your way called Rasen Riders, they are on facebook but if you contact Louth Cycle Centre they should be able to sort you with some more details, they tend to ride out on a Sunday from Market Rasen onto the wolds.

There is plenty of riding on the south end of the wolds horncastle area heading north. Which end are you? Love the wolds it’s not technically challenging but it can be pretty.

Hubba got to agree it’s nice and quiet and fairly undiscovered.

Jump started, then running, jump leads removed, still running, the ECU is working at this point, not fried from the jump start. Let’s try some logic folks.

You wouldn’t buy car brakes online and ask a garage to fit for free?

You would be surprised, whilst it’s in for a service you can’t just pop these on for me. No matter what trade, there is always a silly request.

The NX one fits Shimano splines.

I’ve been running my Niner RLT as a SSCX for the past two seasons, it’s great fun to race, reliable, and all you need is an eccentric bottom bracket, weight wise it’s floaty light, especially for the coming cross season, with carbon wheels tubs, and hylex brakes, should be rapid.

Use them on my road bike, but road bike is disc brakes with same hub dimensions as a mountain bike. Hope in blue looks great on it.

What are the rear cones like? When did you last have it serviced?

Another one that raced Harlow woods yesterday, great course really enjoyed it, didn’t get off the line over well which was not a good thing on that course. But was excellent, the a line was great with a nice launch pad.

Yes Alfine uses the etube software, set mine the other day to do multiple shifts on prolonged holding off the shift levers. Been very impressed with the alfine di2. One bonus is you can use ultegra 11 with an xtr rear mech so great for cyclocross, so now a cheaper rear mech to use.

Got them on my commuter, feel great in operation, excellent modulation with more power than spyres. Only been using them a month but so far so good.

If looking at a stigmata, the niner bsb had got to be worth a look, if the shop you deal with can get Santa Cruz they should also be able to source Niner. I’m just wishing Yeti would make another cross bike.

You don’t get many posts of bikes that don’t get crack ;) and you can always find someone who has broken something. I’ve snapped a snap on breaker bar doesn’t mean small on tools are rubbish.

    Haven’t had a 303, but happily thrashing 129’s and 127’s.

    As above build and enjoy.

Fantastic event, loved it, rode my Pace RC129 in the evening, on Thunder Burts, was seriously undergeared with 30:18 on the beach. Then on the Sunday rode the Niner RLT with 34:17 gearing which was about right, the Clement LAS tyres despite being a really minimal file tread were fantastic, great down the beach, and pretty handy in the singletrack, happily allowing me to keep pace with most of the mtbs, only the really loose sand caused them an issue, but that was more width than tread.

Watched the programme as I had seen all the others in the series, wouldn’t have wanted to work there, but then again I don’t drink at all.

This may be a daft question but what does IPA stand for?

Clement LAS’s on the cross bike, and Burt’s on the MTB. Will have some more knobbly options with me just in case.

I suspect with the software problems garages were experiencing last summer I wasn’t handed a certificate.

In which case you should have been given a contingency test certificate, which would have been printed and then the details hand written on it.

You should be given the equivalent of an MoT certificate, which is more a receipt of what is put onto the dvsa database, it displays whether it was a pass or fail and where relevant what the failure items where and what the advisories are. You are also legally entitled in the next three months to ask for the emissions result if you haven’t been given those results. The maximum charge for a duplicate/replacement certificate is £10 or half the test fee whichever is lower.

Measure them up and find out most bearing suppliers are able to supply them, and usually far cheaper than the replacement costs normally quoted. If they are made by Enduro any shop dealing with Extra Uk will be able to order them as Extra are the UK distributor for Enduro bearings.

19 hours left to work for my current employer, not that I’m counting them down.

Love that the work place thug who has offered to smash my face in a couple of times, asked was I having a night out and buying them all a beer, the answer of no seemed a shock to them.

What are you eating during training? Chucking in something new just because it’s race day is an experiment not many would recommend.
