I’ve lost a front wheel from a secure locked bike room in a nice block of flats in Southampton. I got off lightly, my wheel was taken to fit someone else’s bike which they’d nicked. They knew enough about the bikes to realise my avid rotor’d wheel would fit in his Avid’d Marin.

Bad times.

Cheers for the navigation advice, I know where the mast is… just a bit hidden. I went through the trails on Saturday evening (in the storm) and noticed loads of strategically placed logs when going through the long grass singletrack on the golf course side of things.

Looking forward to the ride tomorrow to sus out more routes.

I’ve got an RP23 as well. Excellent firming up for climbing, haven’t played with all the settings too much yet but haven’t found it wanting at all up hill.

I’m 6’4″ and 100kg. Have just bought a Santa Cruz Superlight with rp23 and Fox 32 Floats…. no problems at all. Feels more than burly enough for me.

Good fast fun, worth a look when going quickly avoiding the rocks.

Had the same problem as you Cruzheckler. Replaced cassette and chain, no difference. Then changed chain ring and all was good!

Sounds amazing value, which LBS did you get it from if you don’t mind me asking? Looks a way better spec than the prices I’ve seen about.

Which did you buy? I’m looking at getting one…. need to decide which spec. How much was the deal fadda?
