Think I’ve still got the spanner bit some where too! What was the bit that the chain tool screwed through for?

Why do we call them soil pipes and not poo pipes?

In all seriousness because there is no pressure in them they are pretty forgiving in terms of leaks and bodging connectors together. 10mm will probably just flex.

Wall not worth doing at the moment. Basically gain all your height to do a fire road back down.

I think the issue was, that whilst Welsh politicians have long been seen as not particularly dynamic, they have been seen to at least be honest.

I think the idea that he might not be makes him seem too much like the Tory party and in Wales that wont wash.

Problem is, if it spits bits of dual mass flywheel all over the bell housing you might damage the gearbox, which more pain again. Probably best not to drive if its really noisy.

I’ve got one. It’s an absolute hoot. I love it. Comes with a rubbish nx groupset though which needs replacing pretty quickly.

They should do a sponsorship deal with the local NHS, maybe get the A&E named after them.

We quite like it, I’m always pleased to look after biking injuries!

Porthleven has a fantastic harbour wall. Loads of kids jumping off every evening in the summer. Non jumpers can watch from the pub too.

Is the meter itself giving the right reading and just not sending it to the supplier? If so then your should still be manually updating the reading, particularly if the estimates are low as you will still get billed for actual usage when they eventually take a reading

The gas one is doing that, and I have given the readings. The leccy one is making no sense, according to Bulb there is no way to read it. To be honest we haven’t change our electricity usage at anyway so if it does transpire it can be read in some way I won’t be too bothered. I was most annoyed that they new it wasn’t working but only after I contacted them did they tell me so and had made no effort to sort a new meter for us.

Bulb fitted one in our place about a year ago. Transpires it’s not been working for the last 9 months, hadn’t noticed they were sending me estimated bills. So basically have unmetered electricity at the moment until they get round to fitting a new one in may. Total shower.

I’ve never heard of a ghost in an intensive care unit. Pretty sure if anywhere was haunted they would be!

Interesting that he’s a consultant anaesthetist because i know a few medical professionals and the only one who has refused a vaccine is a…

    …consultant anaesthetist!

Maybe there has been a scare story on the Anaesthetist-track World forum?

There is unfortunately no such equivalent to STW for Anaesthetists – although given that most of them only talk about coffee and road bikes they would fit right in here.

I know quite a lot of anaesthetists – in that I am one – and can confirm that the one you know plus this one in Georges are barking and are definite outliers. We have all seen so many die of Covid that we were desperate to get the first jab in our arms. ITU whilst still busy, given the community case numbers is like night and day to how it was, the vaccines are having a massive effect.

Mayhill area, very localised. Mostly disaffected kids. Not representative of Swansea overall

Moved to Swansea from Bham about ten years ago. Its a great place to live and improving in many ways. Town is a bit down at heel but with new development it is going places. West Swansea (Mumbles etc) is a lovely place to live all the amenities you need, right on the beach.
Biking round here is excellent, Clyne valley and Gower for doorstep trails, with Afan and Brechfa plus Brecon slightly further away plus all of Wales.
Traffic is bad, but no worse than lots of big cities. My kids both go to Welsh language schools and standards seem good enough at primary level at least (kids are happy which is main thing).
House prices are low relative to many places – but have risen significantly in the last couple of years.
Honestly can think of few places in the UK that better it.

The problem with Danish oil is that it doesn’t really mean anything – they vary wildly. Some are good some are not so good, its too broad a description of lots of products to be that useful.

We have up with Danish oil on our oak worktops and went for osmo. Far more durable, nicer finish. Much better all round.

Have done it with and without. Found SPD’s a bit uncomfortable on my knees due to the angle I’m pedalling at. Prob ok with a smaller child. Def prefer the flats though, probably a bit safer too.

Your eyes keep changing before that age – you need to have a stable prescription or you can start to develop short sightedness again.

I think doing a bit of homework as to where you go is important. Opthamologist I know once said dont go to the cheap places! Mine cost 5k.

Had Smile surgery about 3 months ago – basically the same as lasik but without the flap in your cornea being made. I used to be -7 in both eyes and have worn glasses since I was 7. I’m now 38 and can see perfectly in both eyes – its amazing. Right eye has been a bit dry – but thats slowly improving. I took 2 days plus weekend off work – realistically could have gone back to work 2 days afterwards. I was driving without issue after an appointment for a check on my vision the next day.

    38 – Pfizer jab
Sore arm after the first one for a couple of days nothing else.
Less sore arm the second time – was a bit disappointed to be honest.

Had my second Pfizer on Sunday. Slightly sore arm for couple of days but that’s it. Slightly disappointed, was hoping for more!

Totally off topic I know, but after 30 odd years of wearing glasses and contacts have just had eyes Lasered. -7.5 to perfect vision. It is amazing. Sorry.

We went DIY kitchens a couple of years ago. It’s been great. We got the worktops from worktop express.

I couldn’t stand the Wren salesman, I’ve never had such a hard sell on anything in my entire life. Wouldn’t touch them with a bargepole.

We went with a Serious Trailkid Comp – got it direct from Germany and been very impressed. Great frame, hydraulic discs, maxxis tyres. I think I paid about £300.

I love our open plan house with our bifold doors and I love sitting on the decking looking in at the grey kitchen walls, and I don’t care what you all think (no hot tub or led lights though).

I have a MI9, had it for a year or so. Can’t fault it. Good price, build quality is good. Miui can be mostly controlled with another launcher installed over the top so it feels like stock android.

I’m a massive Arcteryx fan, have been for years. Definitely better than Rab these days, the fit for me is really good but I don’t think the quality is quite what it was 10 years ago.

I’d not be so worried about the oil level as the fact it hasn’t been serviced for three years! How many miles has that oil done?

I will never use Currys ever again. Total shower. Ordered a laptop in April, they sent a fit bit. Spent hours on the phone trying to get it sorted, they were useless. Took months to get a refund, had to chargeback through credit card. Avoid them like the plague.

The hub indicates that the bow is 1.3 m underwater and that he is listing at 23deg. It also says he is currently doing 8 knots. Something odd going on. Poor chap, must be so gutting. Hope it can be fixed.
