Its around this time of year I dream of a Cream Egg Easter Egg, where the egg is an actual scaled up cream egg. Oh, the joy.

Thanks, food for thought. Maybe the Helium 2 is the better bet. The Luna Solo looks a decent size too.

Bike packing and hiking, wild camping mainly… Will be on the back of a motorbike for the odd trip. Unlikely to be used in really cold weather, so 3 season I guess.

The Force Ten Helium 2 was also a contender.

Skied in Laax yesterday. Bit patchy and icy in places, but all in all I was impressed how well they’re doing with artificial.

Fresh snow this morning, so fingers crossed the snow continues to fall.

    Where are you based Growinglad?

Winter is definitely here, was below zero last weekend and has been pretty cold since November. It has been far too dry though, in serious need of snow on the mountains.

Very similar experience to Stavro, including the surgeon.

Having discussed operating on my grade IV separation with Mr. Limb I decided the cons (particularly the risk of arthritis in the joint) outweighed the pros and didn’t have the operation. I also get occasional aches, but it hasn’t stopped me doing anything.

Worth knowing that there’s no time limit on the operation either, so if you don’t get on with rehab then you can opt to have the operation much later..

As for why Iceland, we wanted something a but different, yes we drink, but it won’t be as boozy as some dos.

Don’t even mention the food. What I’d give for an hour at the Maxwell food court…

Definitely keep me posted on Zürich.

Aye, moved. All good, though yet to find the Din Tai Fung. Not a bad shout with Züg, any stationery trips planned to CH in the future?

The best bike trail is on Pulau Ubin. You can hire bikes on the island once you get the ferry from Changi village but they’re basic, they’ll do the job though.

Bukit Timah trail is also decent, but I’m struggling to think where you’d hire a bike nearby.

Trollers Gill is also a lovely little walk, as you can include the pub in Appletreewick which has top food in the loop.

Add in the climb up to Simon’s seat for a cracking walk

Hey Growing lad, thanks for the tip on Swiss Alpine Adventures – have joined on meetup. Will look to get out on a ride once my bikes have arrived.

I’m looking at anywhere within Zurich to be honest. Seen a few places and so far quite like the feel of Wipkingen, though yet to really explore the place.

I’m currently staying with a friend in Seefeld, like the proximity to the lake and Stadelhofen (I work in Nanikon), though rents a little eye watering.

I’ll drop you a mail with my contact details.

Thanks Geetee – that’s really helpful.

I currently live in Singapore Rone, so well used to riding in the heat – it is hard work though.

I’m in Singapore too if you fancy meeting up for a ride sometime.

He should get his skates on and get that lot cleared up. Things are looking bleak for the traffic.
